Awesome NYC Experience

This hotel was in a great location! It was right next door to the 9/11 museum and was within walking distance of several subway entrances, battery park, and Chinatown. Despite being in the city, the hotel was exceptionally quiet and in a very safe area. We had a small suite with one double bed, a kitchenette, and a single pull out bed. The hotel also had complimentary breakfast and lunch snacks. We would certainly stay here again!

It's the only place we will stay in NYC.

CQ is clean, friendly, and is the only place my wife and I stay when we visit the city. Beds are comfortable, pillows big and fluffy. There's a desk with chair and an additional chair for reading in each room we've been in. The bathrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel has two elevators that are extremely fast. If you want to go up from the ground floor to the 20th floor outdoor patio, it will take about 15 seconds.
We love this hotel.

Great location, average rooms

The location is unbeatable for New York. right next to WTC and 9/11 Museum and Calatrava Metro station. Room was dark (no daylight-room inward) Room temperature always cold even when Airconditioning was turned up to 78 F. They gave us a heater to stay warm. Nevertheless for a 4 star Hotel that should not happen. Breakfast only all you can eat at 16$ or more. No regular breakfast. All in all 3 out of 5 points

Simple, comfortable and functional

The room had a fantastic view over the WTC memorial, and was comfortable and functional. Multiple places to put bags was great. The desk would have been great to do some work from if I had been working from my room on this trip.

Quality and price do not correspond

Apart from the very friendly front desk staff, something is off with the service at this place. I arrived and then got in bed in the evening to find that my bed had only 3/4 of the bottom layer sheet. It was a hassle to get the sheet changed, requiring me to go down and show the front desk staff person a picture and then having the person who came up immediately ask me why I hadn't reported the issue earlier. Is it normal to check and make sure that your bed is made properly at this type of property? I think not. I also found myself sinking down every night between the two single beds that were pushed together into a king. Additionally, I found a previous guest's extra suit jacket buttons on the desk next to the coffee maker tray--yuck!! It also seemed like they were skimping on towels in the bathroom, but that was just the icing on the cake. Overall, I'd just say they charge a lot of money and the service doesn't even match some of the more consistent mid-market brands in the area.
