How to Get There
Hotel is very convenient to Central Park, Time Square and Grand Central Station. Rooms are adequate and clean. Look forward to next stay. Only issue I had was the location of coffee maker and how it had to be “rigged” to hook to electrical outlet. But truly appreciated having coffee maker in room. Liked the yoga mat as well.
Reading all the reviews about the size of hotel rooms in midtown Manhattan, I was positively surprised. The room was very clean and of decent size. The staff was very friendly and attending. The living room on the 27th floor with free coffee and snacks was a bonus.
That fact that this hotel is in a great location is a given, especially as the overnight rate gives that one away. Beyond that, you’re instantly reminded that there’s a ‘happy hour’ every day on the top floor, which btw, draws quite the crowd. Beyond that, the hotel is very average, with a rough and ready lobby area, which gets crowded easily. The room itself was ok, but didn’t have a safe-keeping facility in the room, which is a major omission. You can lodge your precious items in a communal room on one of the lower floors, which was a time consuming affair. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant/bar either, which is odd too. Beyond the great location, there’s little else to get excited about with this hotel.
