How to Get There
Another basketball mom and I split a room for a tournament close by. The property was easy to find and close to stores. The local stores are overpriced and the rooms are small and also a bit expensive but it was a convenient location.
Good place for location. Not much around it for entertainment. Definitely the class act in that part of neighborhood but convenient to get to relatives annd very safe and modern. I would have liked the restaurant to hev more menu choices and be open later but the staff really worked hard to make me comfortable.
Friendly staff and clean guest rooms made the stays enjoyable. Continental breakfast has lots of choices, and CP values are high even you pay for it. The front door is shielded by plexiglass canopy, it was a bit too warm even in May, before entering the lobby. The partition semi-transparent glass between toilet-shower and bed rooms may be too see-through when lights are on.
No ac and the room was at 80 degrees my entire stay. When I called down to see if someone could fix the problem I was told someone could come after midnight and the hotel was completely booked. No one fixed the problem.
Best hotel for the area. Clean and friendly staff. Rooms are small but comfy. Would not hesitate to book there again. Same price as the Phoenix Hotel. But no comparison to the facilities. First time in Brooklyn.
