A Times Square-area hotel designed by David Rockwell
Get in the Empire State of Mind, and live it up with a posh stay in
Midtown Manhattan that plays off its iconic neighborhood. The Time New York is all set up to cater to creative travelers and anyone curious about
the local point of view; the concierge is always ready to arrange your
outing to a Broadway show or get you a reservation at a trending eatery.
Since you’re in the Theater District, you won’t have to go very far to
get to either.
In fact, the redesigned interiors – by none other than David Rockwell – are a great match
for all the innovation happening right on the block; you’re doors away
from Broadway shows The Book of Mormon and Chicago, for
instance. Of course, you
could always get a taste of the new and next right at the hotel: Hit
Italian restaurant Serafina opened its outpost here in December. And if you'd like a setting-appropriate drink before then, you can always ask the LeGrande Lounge bartender to mix you a Manhattan.
Rooms and suites
Moody lighting, industrial accents and
pops of metallic make you feel like you’re in an urban oasis. The
hotel’s rooms and suites feature lavish touches, like Italian Frette
linens, marble bathrooms with rain showerheads, plush furnishings,
Samsung Smart TVs, gourmet minibars and more so you can stay
comfortable, and maybe even sleep when the 24-hour city doesn’t.Classic
King rooms range from 225 to 250 square feet and hold one king bed,
while Classic Double Double rooms are larger – 265 to 325 square feet –
with two doubles. If you spring for the Timeless suite, you’ll have a
roomy 420 to 510 square feet to spread out in, including a bedroom with a
king bed and a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed.
LeGrande Lounge mixes cocktails in a clandestine setting, on the mezzanine. The
hotel’s soon-to-open Serafina outpost will serve the Italian pastas, pizzas, salads and
seafood plates that have made the local chain a hit. Its moody décor and
sleek lines charm will give you a side of style, too, and you can also
expect a cheerful crowd of other enthusiastic diners.
in the Theater District and Times Square neighborhoods, between
Broadway and Eighth Avenue, the hotel gives you near-instant access to
the surrounding music and arts scene. Whether you’re getting around by
foot, by subway or by yellow cab, this premier Midtown address means all
the iconic NYC attractions are just minutes away. Visit the Square
itself, see a Broadway show, shop Fifth Avenue, explore Central Park, or
head to a totally different neighborhood and explore away.
