How to Get There
The Langham is now our favourite hotel in Sydney. Located away from the hustle and bustle but close to all major attractions. You could not ask for a more peaceful location.
The room itself was spacious, clean and well appointed, everything that you may need is there.
Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the staff, friendly, respectful, knowledgable and helpful.
We wanted a brief break for our anniversary without the hassle of travelling . We have stayed at the Langham before and loved it so that was our choice. This is such a lovely , elegant hotel with superb service , from Rosie at the door, who always had a smile and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, through to the staff at reception, in the restaurant, spa, room service, everyone was friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. We have travelled a lot, and stayed in many beautiful hotels. It is the service and the staff that make some hotels stand out more than others. This is now one of my favourites.
We were expecting a lot from our stay. The rooms are ok but that was it. So much construction happening around the place. And the once amazing view is quickly disappearing with new buildings coming up. At over $600 for the night it was a waste of our hard earned money and we wish we had stayed elsewhere. We went down to the observatory bar for a drink and the service was soooo slow although the place was empty. It took over 20 minutes for 2 cocktails. Both were not balanced and costed $24 each. We went to the palissade hotel nearby to have an other drink and food as the Langham was a disappointment. 5* prices, 4* accomodation and 3* service. Never again
The Langham is a gracious hotel, tucked away in the Rocks area, away from the hustle and bustle, but close to Circular Quay. and the Opera House. Our room had a tree view, but was spacious and elegantly decorated and very restful. The bathroom was all in marble and quite large. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinning area has a lovely ambiance. It was wonderful to come back to the serenity of the hotel after a busy day sight seeing.
I am a regular at the Langham SYDNEY. First rate. The bar is a great place for a social catch up, the breakfast is world class and the staff are so highly trained and so polite and helpful.
A very relaxing place to stay.
