Loved the venue

Recommended and simply not disappointed, rather we were welcomed without a reservation, walking off the grassed frontage on a Sunday lunchtime. Staff were beautiful, table for two next to the pool. Food & wine just first class, worth the cost. Thank you for the experience.

We arrived last week to be told we had been upgraded. Fine. Nice room but we got the upgraded bathroom fan noise. Several decibels upgraded. We had to move but not before I ended the life of a reasonably sized cockroach in the bathroom. Long time since I have seen one of those in an expensive hotel.

Dinner was nice but service poor. So much so that the waiter apologised to us at the end of the night. Apparently a large group from outside ( not hotel guests ) dominated their attention. Not good or expected if you are paying $750 night. To make it worse this group was allowed to drink so much booze that around 11pm they decided to get roppy in the car park...RSL style.

I complained but the management seemed indifferent.

Terrible service

The venue was amazing however the service was uncomfortable!! We popped in for a few afternoon drinks and awkwardly waited 5 mins by the ‘wait here to be seated’ sign until we were noticed. Once seated there was no urgency or customer service - we stayed for 1 drink and left!
