How to Get There
We stayed here for almost a week. The location is great, easy access to drive to tourist locations and a free shuttle to take you to the plaza (or anywhere else you want to go). The staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. Most the guests were a little older than us, in their 50-60s. This was a very relaxed stay.
Our room was large with a small balcony and living room. There was no door separating them, but it was nice to have the space. Our room overlooked the entrance but we never had problems with noise. The room was meticulously clean, I loved our housekeeper. She was extremely thorough and very friendly. We interrupted her one day while she was vacuuming and already immaculate floor. Honestly, she was better than cleaners at hotels we’ve stayed at that were twice as expensive.
The pool was fantastic. Our family came to visit one day and the kids had a great time in the pool. The pool area never felt crowded and we were always able to find a spot in the hot tub or a lounge chair. The landscaping was lovely, and there’s a beautiful sculpture by the pool.
They offer a paid continental breakfast in the mornings which was perfect for our needs, and coffee on every floor. We ate lunch once at the restaurant and it was fine, but nothing special in a region with truly amazing food. I wish they had more local dishes.
There were always staff around the hotel if we had questions. I did feel like there were relatively few women working at the hotel and the women employees seemed to have the lowest roles in the hierarchy. I never saw a woman manager and the front desk was usually staffed by older men. Just something we noticed as two women traveling alone. I tend to feel safer if there are women staff around. However, all the employees were very polite and knowledgeable and we never had a problem.
Classy, comfortable and clean. ALL staff from reservation & check-in to wait staff & housekeeping were friendly, very welcoming & accommodating. Our room/bed was very comfortable! We will definitely be staying here again!
My Partner and I stayed in one of the Hacienda suites.
What an experience! The suite was lovely and large with refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities and a beautiful lounge and patio.
Fantastic 'Happy hour' which was for two hours between 5 and 7, where one could sit outside on the roof patio and enjoy the beautiful scenery. A very good selection of beer and wine was served with great hors d'oeuvres.
A very good breakfast was served buffet style on the same patio. All of this was included on the price for the suite
The staff couldn't do enough for us, so helpful and friendly.
We have already booked for next year.
