How to Get There
Stayed one night and couldn’t have been happier! We arrived at the hotel and were blown away by the general warmth of the place the lounge was bustling with activity and employees were happy and helpful despite the crowd of people they were attending to. One employee in particular, Ann Rogers who is the evening front desk manager was very kind and courteous. She offered us a tour of the hotel if we were interested once we settled in which we gladly accepted. Santa Fe is rich in history, and we were curious of the origins of the hotel having never stayed there (we had stayed at several other historical hotels in Santa Fe I’m the past). The history did not disappoint! From the beautiful Native American artwork that adorned the walls to the cozy hot tub and excellent architecture of the pool (it is shaped like an arrow! Although it was closed being the winter months). We would very highly recommend a stay at this Santa Fe gem given the chance!
Hotel is located in downtown Santa Fe, in a very walkable location. Staff is friendly and patient. Hotel amenities include hot tub, gym, rooms with balconies, and shuttle to nearby locations. Just two blocks from a Whole Foods. Try Tomasitas Testaurant around the corner from the hotel!
This hotel is the only Native-owned establishment in Santa Fe. The pride of that ownership permeates the appearance of the lobby and every other aspect of the hotel's ambience. We had two suites and one queen-sized for our party of 5. Loved the suites and the fitness room. Shuttle service was excellent and the drivers were solicitous of our needs and interests.
We had a wonderful experience with our two young children on a family trip to Santa Fe. The staff were exceptional - friendly, kind and helpful in every way. We got the teepee package, which included a teepee playset complete with "bear skin" rugs and pretend camp fire. The staff also set up a fire pit for us by the pool with hot chocolate and smores. Our boys were in heaven. We also ate at Amaya multiple times, including their Thanksgiving buffet. The wait staff was excellent and gave helpful tips for our stay. And the food was delicious. Wonderful experience, especially for the price.
Today, Monday, November 26, 2018, the Hotel Santa Fe released an email ad stating 30% off all stays in 2019. Keep in mind that the ad said "all stays." However, when trying to get the 30% off for the. week of Indian Market in 2019 the Hotel Santa Fe stated that that particular week was a blackout week and not eligible for the 30% discount. I am not sure if this was a "bait & switch" technique or if they just flat out lied to make the deal seem better than it was. Very deceptive advertising.
