Love the 4th Floor Apothecary Lounge
hhprotz

I chose the hotel because I heard great things about the Apothecary Lounge. I had some yummy drinks and the view was perfect. The hotel staff was attentive and friendly, giving out suggestions for dinner that were not chain restaurants, always a plus in my book. They had a car that would take you up to 3 miles from the property, fantastic if having a drink with dinner. The Hotel was funky and fun. Lots to look at and having been a hospital in its first life was an intriguing tidbit of fun.
My only hiccup was when checking in they put me in a dog room. It was not in the best of condition and I was a bit disappointed having heard many good things. I talked to the front desk and was moved with no problem. My second room was what I was expecting. I would stay here again

Classy!

Went for a staycation with my boyfriend and this hotel was classy and beautiful! Definitely will stay here again! The one little complaint, though the room was pretty quiet, the neighbor guests were slamming their door numerous times until midnight. Not sure what was going on but I was grateful when it stopped. The reason we chose this hotel in the first place was because we are trying to stay in all the NM hotels that have haunted history which this one ranked high for paranormal activity but we didn't have any luck.

Decent choice in Albuquerque.

Hotel is in a decent part of town but there is a park adjacent with some questionable activity. The property is mostly fenced but not gated so there was that uneasy feeling. Stayed in a cottage at rear of property. Private, but not quiet as it is on a street. No restaurant so guests need to travel which is annoying. There is a coin op laundry which is great for travelers. A breakfast is offered which was just awful. Dog wanders property which could be a problem if allergic. Mostly attitude of front desk was dismissive and patronizing.
