How to Get There
We were very excited to spend a few days at The Westin as the location is quite scenic. But were very dissapointed with the quality of housekeeping staff and service provided. The room was not cleaned in a timely manner and i had to make requests. When cleaned the quality was quite shocking and not standards one would expect of The Westin. I had to call their 'express service' team to visit the room and check for themselves.
The hotel provides parking which was helpful. The queen bed sizes are a bit small as compared to other hotels in the vicinity. The bar and restaurant service was ok. The lobby is lovely and the location as well.
Slightly dampened with the experience. Not sure if we would like to return.
Small issue with bathroom and they responded promptly, courteously and gave us 20,000 reward points for our inconvenience. If you are a Starwood preferred or Marriott elite the courtesy breakfast and happy hour are among the best I have ever seen.. Best hotel experience in a long time.
We stayed at the Westin over the Labor Day weekend. It was a pleasant stay, nice rooms and facilities (gym). I liked that they offered a Wellness menu as well. The club lounge was closed for the weekend (which was surprising since I’ve stayed at the Marriott Princeton Forrestal and their club lounge was open on the weekends). They offered us free continental breakfast to make up for it..for a Westin the continental breakfast was quite a pitiful display and lacked options to choose from. Safe to say we didn’t come back down for breakfast for the rest of the weekend.
I liked the location and the courteous hotel staff. They went above and beyond with any requests or questions that we had. I would definitely choose to stay here again but keeping in mind that I’m not coming for the great breakfast selections.
