How to Get There
I picked this hotel due to proximity to Princeton. The hotel is geared for conferences. The upstairs bar ... a female bartender was terrible. Granted she may have overloaded with customers, but her attitude toward the customers as a result was obnoxious.
We stay here several times a year. While passing thru this part of NJ it’s always been a staple for us. The staff in the restaurant all know us. The front desk staff have always been nice and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and we usually get a suite. It had become a home away from home. But that’s all over now. I write this review after only two hours of sleep. Apparently some kind of teenage event checked in last night. They were everywhere throughout the hotel. Running thru the lounge area, running down the halls and the noise from the room next to us became unbearable at midnight. I called down to the front desk to please ask someone to come up to the fifth floor (which by the way is a quiet floor usually because a pass key is required to even get up there) and ask them to keep it down. I don’t even know if they did because the noise continued until about 3:30am. When I thought some time had passed and all would be calm it started up in the hallway at around 6am. As I write this the noise continues and the pictures on the wall are vibrating.
I’m hoping that when my husband checks out whoever is at the front desk is fully aware of what transpired throughout the ENTIRE hotel last night into this morning. I know we are only one couple who always stays here. But rest assured that’s it’s our last. I will be sharing my experience with social media as well as our business partners who also frequent this hotel. It’s sad because we really liked this place.
We had to change hotel last minute and found it online. Everything is in good working order and very practical. It is good for a business stay and in a nice green setting but away from most thing and downtown Princeton.
Pool was great. The gym equipment most of it didn’t work. The beds were nice. They do not have microwaves in the room. Also do not offer coffee in the morning. They said they offer a Kerig in the room but does not even have creamer. I know something so simply turned me off. The restaurant was ok. My husband got steak for 32 and it was all fat. My burger was good. So I guess if you don’t need coffee in the morning or a working gym this place may work for you
Very convinient location , clean rooms, fully equipped and spacious. Bar was good too and the proximity to Novo’s office and the conference center is awesome. I will stay there again if i visit NN again.
