How to Get There
We love this place. It's a sprwaling modern Hotel. Large indoor Pool, full gym, restaurant, bar and even pool table and shuffleboard. Out side i noticed Tennis courts. The room are large and comfortable. I would think a place ike this would run $200+/ night but we were there on an off weekend and paid a little more then $100.. Our desk man was Michael. He was awesome. He took great care of us!! we couldnt thank him enough.
Princeton is just a few miles away.,probably reasonable if you like to UBER. That helps if you like to drink during dinner.
Went through three different calls attempting to order room service which is advertised as 24/7. I definitely wasted at least 45 minutes on hold or explaining the hotel's policy to it's employees. Was transferred once to the kitchen with no answer. Was waiting on hold with no answer. Then was told there was little to nothing being offered. I travel often and can guarantee there are way better hotels out there who care about their guests with comparable prices. Do not book here. It is not an enjoyable experience.
My youngest son as a father’s day gift offered me a weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza in Princeton on June 29-30. He chose the Crowne Plaza because I am often in Princeton and I had mentioned that the grounds around this hotel are beautiful. At arrival the check in was quick and within a few minutes we were given room cards and we were off to ours rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and no complaints whatsoever. Here is what happened, just after midnight my son and his girlfriend were awaken and startled by an intruder that had entered their room, he screamed and the intruder immediately left the room. Needless to say that he did not regain sleep easily after that encounter. In the morning he told me what had happened and we both went to the front desk to ask why some else had been given a card to his room. The girl at the front desk was most polite but was unable to answer why this had happened, when I asked to speak to the manager she told me that there was no managers on duty but the manager Mrs. Emma Karp would be there as of 10:00 and that she would call me. Then when my son tried to get back to his room, his card was demagnetize due to the mix up with the intruder and whoever made that mistake didn’t t reinstated his card back. Since we had other plans, we checked out and I wrote a note with my info so that the manager could get in touch with me, I figure that this was security flaw that could have serious repercussions for an intruder entering someone else’s room. I never received a call back, a few days later I took the time to write an email but there again never received a reply. I know that these mishaps happens often, and this could be training related and or just by inadvertence. What I find unacceptable is the part from management not replying, this to me means that they do not care. When security is the main concern, they should always aim to bring corrective measures as to reduce the risk for future customers like you and me. Since management should be reading this let us see how and if they respond.
