How to Get There
We were staying for just one night. The front desk upgraded our room to a suite. Nice !!! The problem was: The shades did not blackout... or so I thought. I wrote a review and the front desk responded the next morning before checkout explaining, "Continue to rotate the shades until the blackout shade appears. They were right !!! Make a note, "Continue to Rotate the Shade until the Blackout Shade appears !!!" This could be remedied with a sign in the room or pre-checkin explanation. This is a suggestion , not by any means a criticism. Again, Great Hotel Staff all around !!!
The room had every amenity imaginable including toothbrushes, tooth paste, shaving cream, and a razor. The bath towels were huge and soft. The bed was extremely comfortable and well made daily. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly
The "first" room we were placed in immediately had somewhat of a toxic odor coming from the rooms heater/AC. We immediately called it in and in less than three minutes the manager at the front desk dropped everything and showed up at the door. Without any if, and, or buts deemed it unacceptable and not only relocated my wife and I but upgraded us as well. This is the whole truth and nothing but the truth - I'm a pastor and I wouldn't lie to you! :)
If you are looking to stay at this hotel, don’t. I used this hotel as part of a room block for my wedding, and it was a mess. The only problem I had in my whole wedding was this hotel. Between the closure of the restaurant and bar, which no one felt the need to tell us about ( with 42 rooms booked ) in fact they lied about having it still open, the failure to hand out any of our welcome bags, put any of our liquor out for guests ( due to closure of bar ) to them not providing cups or a bottle opener for the guests to even use once they finally brought it down. They told me they would send someone up to fix our window (blinds would not close) and no one came. The absolute lack of customer service and hospitality is enough to never recommend this hotel to anyone!!
I recently stayed at the Westminster Hotel for the first time due to a business trip. I was very impressed on everything during my stay. Room was beautiful, very friendly staff and I had an issue with the A/C in my room and it was taken care of immediately. Big shout out to Anthony Catapano in Engineering.
I will definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure!
