How to Get There
This hotel was easy to get to, great location, great views great value and overall money well spent! The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They were well informed and able to answer any and all of our 2 million tourist questions!!!
An excellent location. It's one stop on the PATH train that is a 2-minute walk from the hotel to the World Trade Centre and Manhatten. And yet it feels like a million miles away - it's quiet and calm.
This hotel was located in a prime location if you are wanting to travel into New York. The path train is literally right outside their front door. The view from the hotel is amazing and it has a beautiful place to sit and relax each morning and night. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The Hyatt regency sits right across the Hudson River from New York City. It is an awesome view. Transportation into the city is easy. We took the ferry across into the city. It's location is ideal for anyone who wants to be close to the city but not stay in the city. There is a Starbucks nearby and in the evening there are some vendors selling ice cream, etc near the motel. They offer valet parking, which I can't remember the cost. You would have to check on the cost. Think it was $38 a day, but I am not sure. Motel is easy accessible. It is a very nice place. There is a restaurant on site, meeting rooms, pool and fitness center. They had games in the lobby to play such as checkers, chess, a huge connect game and a huge chess game. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. The sofa in our room did have a stain on it, but otherwise everything else in the room was very clean. They had a concierge service, but when I checked there I did not find it to be very helpful, plus there was not someone at the desk very often. I would definitely stay here again. The view of the city was awesome and you could sit outside and enjoy the evening and the view. The view from the restaurant was awesome. Also in the morning there was free coffee in the lobby by the restaurant. Breakfast was not free. They had a buffet or you could order off the menu. The location of this place was great for someone who wants to take in the highlights of the city, but then get away for a relaxing evening from the busy city. Definite stay again!
Located on the shore of the Hudson across from One World. The view is breathtaking. Park in front of hotel (along the Hudson) allows for a view from the GW Bridge to the Statue of Liberty. The hotel is between two ferry stops and right next door to the PATH station.
