How to Get There
The hotel is owned by Dartmouth University, so not only is it centrally located relative to the campus, but it is well maintained with excellent meeting facilities for meetings of various sizes.
Pros: Really well laid out and roomy bathrooms; very comfortable beds; nice closet space with plenty of hangers; rooms are reasonable size; the staff is polite, helpful, and responsive; the public areas are very clean; has a business center and workout area; the hotel restaurant is very nice.
Cons: I rarely say this, but none come to mind.
Stayed at the Dartmouth Inn while attending a guest lecture at The Tuck School of Business. The rooms are quite large and the downstairs gym is great in the morning. Breakfast is fabulous especially if you get a window seat.
Hotel as a whole is beautiful and in terrific location on the Dartmouth green.
I booked my room back in July 2017 (11 months in advance.) when I arrived at 7:30p after 11 hours of traveling, I was given essentially a shabby attic room for $300. Room had a small window and slanted roof line that made it feel almost claustrophobic.
I didn’t know in advance that it would be a busy weekend with inflated prices. I think that’s its pretty lame to increase the price of a tiny, last choice room to be equal in price to the much nicer rooms shown on the website.
I asked about the pricing after I checked in and saw the room. Registration person was nice but made it sound like the few other available rooms were worse and so they were not planning to put guests in them.
Visited my son at Dartmouth and stayed at the Inn. Great room, comfy bed, no noise on 4th floor. We dined at The Pine for dinner and the food and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed 5 days, beautiful rooms. Frontdesk staff couldn't be more helpful and kind.
Good restaurants, coffee shops and college buildings nearby.
Service is superb!!
Highly recommended if you are visiting Dartmouth College.
