Silver Legacy at the Row

We had a premium queen (approx 500 sq ft) on the 18th floor. The room was clean and spacious inclued a freestanding desk and separate sitting area. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. One of the many reasons why the Silver Legacy continues to be our go-to hotel when in Reno. Side note: there area many perks with the player's card. whether you enjoy gambling a little or a lot, the SL is very generous with rewards. Enjoy!

Nice Stay

We recently spent part of our Spring Break at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino. The hotel was clean and conveniently located. Our room was comfortable and quiet, but nothing special. The only thing we really did not like was that there was no non-smoking slot machine area. We were there one other visit, and spent most of our time in the non-smoking area. This time we were informed they no longer had this area. Non-smokers just have to put up with the smoke if they want to gamble. The room service was awesome! We ordered coffee to the room each morning we stayed and they were very prompt and cordial and the coffee was delicious. Overall, we had a fun stay.

Everyone is so friendly and it's great to be inside and not deal with the weather.

We had a great view from the 17th floor looking West. Tip: don't settle for a lower floor if you want a view. There was never any noise from any other hotel room and there were several families with children on our floor. Never heard a sound. The pillows were lumpy in our room and we've never had that problem in this hotel before.

Just Horrible

This one seems beyond redemption. To start the front desk was not helpful. I was the only one checking in but the agent couldn’t get away fast enough. She talked over me the entire time and didn’t even end up answering some of my questions such as a recommendation for dinner. Then the room was one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. It was old and dirty. Hair in the sink, smelly sheets and pillows, and the bed was itchy and sunk in the middle. Add on top of it, some rickety, sometimes working buttons, elevators. I recommend staying somewhere, anywhere, else.

First time in a casino hotel, quite disappointed

This is the hotel that sits on top of the Silver Legacy Casino. Despite its name, it is no resort. The rooms are relatively small and unwelcoming. The TV is small and has only few uninteresting channels (no HBO or something entertaining). I suppose this is ok if your main purpose is to play the slots or blackjack. In fact, if this is your purpose then the hotel room helps. I was very pleased that I was given a room with a "city view" only to discover that my view was the El Dorado casino across the street. The only positive I could say is that the room was clean and safe (to get to the elevators you needed to show your hotel pass).
