How to Get There
This place is absolute trash. If you like it here, we’ll, then, there you have it.
Our room is 80 degrees and we can’t get the hotel to fix it. Ironically, it’s going to be 29 tonight. Second night in a sauna. The rooms are tiny, the ceilings are low and the staff isn’t very service oriented. Never again.
We stayed at Harrahs. But came over here for cheaper and better buffet and much nicer and bigger casino and environment. Downtown Reno is not quite as nice as I remember. Did not actually feel safe to wander too far from main casinos
I haven't stayed in Reno for quite awhile. I booked the El Dorado mainly because it is connected to 2 other hotels. I got lucky. The El Dorado is the nicest amongst the Silver Legacy & Circus Circus. Nice rooms, and excellent restaurants.
I always hit well on the slots here. The staff here are top notch. I love the cafe & the buffet. One thing I didn’t like was the cafe was closed Tuesday-Thursday. But there’s another Cafe just inside the Silver Legacy that is equally good. I’m always hot and I thought the temp inside the casino was way too warm (visited early March). My room was very comfortable. I can’t wait to come back
Me and a friend went to the mma fight the weekend of our stay. Everyone was really nice. From the maid service to the front desk. Incredible that all the people were awesome. My buddy got a smoking room and I got a non smoking room. All our needs were met with perfection. The reason it’s a four and not a five is the obvious design to remove money from my pocket. It’s hard to find your way out. The use of mirrors and the ability to provide what ever you need just at a higher price than the “outside” world. It would be easy to never leave the building and get what I need just pay a little or a lot more. The rooms have a mini fridge coffee and toiletries but no microwave to reheat or make food. They want you to buy more food or go down to the casino to get snacks. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place but it’s a money making place.
