How to Get There
We recently stayed at the Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas. We needed just one more night to stay in Vegas and this hotel was just 1 1/2 blocks (off the strip) from where we were at so we decided to try it. Excellent suite! Very clean! Kind and courteous employees. Nice pool (indoor/outdoor). We were not there long enough to enjoy the spa area or restaurant - but everything looked top notch. Would definitely stay here again! A++++++++
No smoke, no casino, no headaches.
The best room I ever stayed in— it was great.
I walked to the monorail and the strip easily. However it is about a half mile away and I was tired at the end of the day. I parked my car and managed pretty well without it.
We arrived at this hotel at the end of our week stay in Vegas. We stayed 2nights/3days. It was a Thursday and I was checking out of another hotel on the strip so I called at 10:30am and asked if my room was ready and it was, so we got right into our room. The room was spacious, full kitchen with an island w/4 stools and an open concept to the livingroom space where the balcony was and you could see the high roller from our balcony. King size bed and lots of closet space and a bathroom that was off both the bedroom and kitchen. Double tub and separate shower as well as his/her sinks. LOVED this suite. The staff here are very friendly and opened the door for you each time you arrived back at the hotel. They also had a happy hour everyday were there was free wine for 1.5 hrs and 50% off menu/drinks for 3 hours. On our last day it was a Saturday (hotel was full), we were night flying out until 11:25pm, but they stored our bags and had no issue with us hanging out by the pool for the day. I will definitely return to this hotel - hidden gem in Vegas.
I guess I need to echo other reviews.
The hotel and the property is great. The pool could do set little updating but not bad. The value is absolutely wonderful.
The downfall is in the people working there. The room was only partially clean each day and was not completely stocked. My groceries order was not completely, they said they would refund me for the shortage but bread without butter just doesn't work for me.
The front desk is friendly but sometimes drops the ball. The valet service is great.
We actually ended up in the same room we did 2 yrs ago and it still has a nasty vibration from the roof, avoid 1715 if possible.
