How to Get There
We had a wonderful stay at the Platinum Hotel. The staff is so friendly, helpful and professional. The free valet service was fast and efficient. We stayed in a Princess suite and had a fantastic view of the Strip. Although we could see traffic, we couldn’t hear it! All suites have full kitchens. We bought groceries and ate breakfast and lunch in our suite—a great cost savings. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable. Although we didn’t have time to swim in the indoor/outdoor pool, or get in the hot tub, we did enjoy soaking up some sun by the pool each day. The on-site bar and restaurants were handy. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the Strip. However, we loved returning to the Platinum and escaping the crowds and noise of the large resorts and casinos on the Strip.
We really liked the Platinum Hotel for our 5-night stay in Vegas. It is centrally located but away from the bustle of the strip. The monorail is a long block walk and strip itself it a long 2-block walk. Parking is free and valet. We had a large suite which was very spacious by Vegas standards. It had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the room. This latter feature is great for keeping clothes fresh and clean over a 5 day visit.
There is no gambling at the hotel which, for us, is a plus. Keeps the noise and traffic down. Front desk, valet and housekeeping staff were all great, helpful and accommodating. Place is very clean and quiet.
Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we returned to Vegas.
I love staying at the Platinum when I visit Las Vegas. It's close enough to the strip that you feel included, but you don't have to hear the noise all night. I also love that it's an all-suite (smallest room is 910 sq feet!), non-smoking and non-gaming hotel. This makes it the quiet, , little getaway. In addition, there's complimentary wine during happy hour! I don't know how long that lasts but I know it's at least an hour. This property also makes traveling so much more convenient because you're equipped with a full kitchen so whether you take leftovers home from their restaurant or buy something to prepare later, everything is ready for you. I also like that valet parking is included with the stay. Makes life stress-free. This was my second visit and I'm looking forward to the third in May!
Poor amenities, poor advising that entire floor is being renovated. Nothing like waking up to the sound of power tools echoing on THE FLOOR ABOVE. Also very very very poor WiFi service. It’s 2019 and I see no excuse for a hotel meant for entertaining and caring for guests to lack such foresight in providing the best experience possible. Unsatisfying stay and wouldn’t do it again. Choose somewhere else y’all.
The hotel is everything you could ask for - large spacious apartment, living room, fully working kitchen, huge bathtub and great bathroom as well as a comfy and spacious bed.
The hotel was nice and just off the strip so it’s nice and quiet when you want to relax but also a 5 min walk from the strip (walk through Bally’s!)
After the 3rd day we were there they stopped cleaning the room which was odd and pretty poor considering the amount you’re paying.
