How to Get There
I should have learned the first time I did the online check-in. It is our second time at this property and of course who would not want to use online check in? Nothing beats the ease of checking in online...
I decided to give it a try one more time. Wrong move!!
I am not sure if their checkin process is programmed to give you the crappiest room at the end of the hallway. Like literally one room before the “emergency exit” stair well. That has happened two times in a row for us.
But since I am tired from driving, I no longer have the energy to complain and ask to be transferred to a room a little closer to the elevator. Sad to say but I won’t be staying at this property until all the construction is finished. The inconvenience is not worth it.
Give the next door hotel a try. It’s an MGM property as well. Better facilities, way better restaurants, more personal check in process (you actually talk to people and not computer screens).... New York New York will have my business any given day.
The hotel will be much nicer once construction is completed. I would highly recommend for the location. The location is excellent with people mover access to the Crystal shops, Aria, and Bellagio. The walk to the Cosmopolitan was also very close and can be reached by a bridge on the second floor of the Crystal shops. For now, I would recommend a Friday and Saturday night stay for now because of the construction. Due to the road construction, it was difficult to reach the entrance on Monday morning. The check-in was very efficient using kiosks rather than the traditional counter. The rooms were pleasant although not remarkable, but nicely remodeled for the price. This is the former Monte Carlo Hotel.
MGM Park is what you would expect from an upscale Las Vegas resort. Had an amazing stay! Beautiful rooms, nice casino, energetic atmosphere. All of the staff were very professional and helpful. Definitely hoping to visit again!
Centrally located on the Strip this is a gem of a find! Has the personality of a boutique hotel with the benefits of the MGM name and magic! The re-model is classy yet modern! I loved the appeal of the walkability of the casino and to the strip, NY NY, MGM!
We got a free upgrade to stay well rooms which was one of a kind. I have never seen this kind of facility anywhere else. Rooms had very pleasant room lighting's and the mattress was really great. Overall a very good experience
