How to Get There
Room amenities was barely motel standard. Room looked decent and was a proper size but an advertised "window seat" was really a couch by the window. There was one ragged round table and ONE chair. No room service folder or welcome folder. No drawers with stationary or drawers at all. Just a bedside table with a handset phone. Thats all. Wide thin shelf under the tv. No fridge and the ice bucket was IN THE CLOSET. Also, theres one sliding door that either covers the closet or the bathroom. Tried to get ready in the bathroom with the door open(steamy after shower) but couldnt with the husband trying to get clothes and iron from the closet. The bathroom barely had room for the towels, they were on a cheap looking shelf by the shower. No tub and no body wash. Shampoo and conditioner and a small soap bar that was meant for body and facial use. Not even rinse cups or toothbrush. Seriously, the most basic of amenities. Also, super noisy and it was a pain opening and closing the window blinds and screen. Took forever to roll up and down and so noisy with the beaded strands.
Plus side, couch and bed was comfortable. Shower nice and hot. So basically a pretty nice motel.
The Park MGM (previously the “Monte Carlo” has been remodeled along with the “Park Theater”
We stayed at the hotel and also attended the “Cher” concert. #Cher put on a fantastic show and is a true professional entertainer. A must see if you are here in Las Vegas. The hotel is beautiful and is an intimate setting unlike the Mega MGM hotel where you can get lost wandering around. The Park also offers the new “Eataly food venue” which offers the best of the best cheeses, wine and meats to enjoy with your Champagne and wine and more. The location is bar none a central location to the “TMobile arena” , #NewYorkNewYork. No car needed, you can walk everywhere. We did rent a car to toodle around the suburbs. Its a $15 a day for parking which I personally feel if you are staying at the hotel should be complimentary. #ParkMGM would you consider doing? We will return, we had a wonderful visit. “ThankYou #ParkMGM
This was a golfing and Big 12 tournament guys trip. Location next to the arena for the tournament was great, though the road closures for the tournament made getting around in the car to go to the golf courses difficult. The service was very good. Not a top hotel, but well worth the price.
Rooms nice, although red crushed velvet couches were an odd fashion choice.
Casino was smokier than normal. Mandalay Bay was much nicer. Eating at Eately was interesting and a bit confusing. But good for quick breakfast or lunch or snacks, albeit expensive.
This hotel was very nice. This is the first time I stayed at this location. I had only walked through while it was Monte Carlo. Very clean, great location. The only negatives I have is that there is are no dressers to put your clothes in. Had to use a couch to lay everything out. Not a lot of sink space for your belongings either.
If you’re traveling with anyone other than a spouse or partner, beware that you can not shower and have the other person get ready in the same bathroom as the shower is completely glass allowing for no privacy.
