How to Get There
It's part of a chain of casino hotels, Stations. I like that this one is a bit more upscale than the rest, with a decent spa, movie theater, and very nice shopping options right outside your door at "The District." The District helps elevate this place. The pool is refreshing, and well-designed. You do feel like you are in another world, maybe Bali! But the rest of the casino and floors are pretty average. Maybe a little less smoke than others. If you are a local, you can get a discount for staying here sometimes.
My room was spacious and clean, but I was awakened early one morning by a loud machinery like noise coming from the parking area next to my room. The next day it happened again late in the evening. Plumbing in the room had issues with a sink draining very slowly, poor water pressure, difficulty controlling hot water for the shower, and the shower door leaked. This would be OK for a cheap motel, but not an expensive resort. An outside door to the guest room wing wouldn't close, making a security problem. Most of the employees were trying to do a good job, but there were some exceptions with lapses in service. They route you into the casino area to get to restaurants and meeting rooms. The casino area had the stale booze and cigarette smell typical for such venues. The meeting rooms were well appointed, with plenty of space, but at times they got really cold. The start time for breakfast was missed in the meeting area. We didn't get internet access in meeting rooms because the service was more than we wanted to pay. However, there's free WiFi in the guest rooms. The grand cafe didn't have all the items on the menu. Food quality was excellent. The pool area is nicely landscaped. They tried to keep trash picked up but couldn't keep up. Be careful where you step. The lounge chairs are placed really close to get more people next to the pool. The main pool is not large enough for the number of people using it. Wads of hair were floating in the pool. Some guests were allowed to throw objects across the pool. Others took dangerous dives into the shallow pool. The base price quoted for a cabana was $250, which was a lot unless you've got a large group to share it, but groups collide because cabanas are so close together. The not so private pool by the cabanas is long but narrow and shallow. The music blaring from speakers was too loud. There's a free shuttle to the airport, but it runs infrequently and can fill up quickly, so our group had to stand in line 40 minutes ahead of the scheduled departure time to get the required passes so as not to be left behind.
I have stayed in numerous hotels and resorts in Las Vegas Green Valley ranch is by far superior to the ones I’ve stayed in. Resort was very clean well staffed and had plenty of restaurants to choose from. We took advantage of the spa and what an amazing experience we had we will definitely be back to the Green Valley.
Had a decent time. Didn't win but ate good. Very nicely appointed casino. Lines were a bit long for the buffet but manageableand the choices of food was wonderful. All in All I would go there again. Ample parking.
We had a conference scheduled here and weren't sure what the experience would be off the strip. It was great! It is a beautiful property and I would stay here again. The rooms were spacious and lovely, friendly staff, beautiful pool with sandy beach area for little ones. High quality equipment in the gym, several excellent restaurant choices in the resort and nearby. Free shuttle to and from the strip and airport. A very nice casino with all the game options. Shopping mall within walking distance.
