How to Get There
Too big. Need GPS to find your way around. No coffee maker or fridge. Wouldn't be a problem if the restaurants weren't in the smokey, stinky casino and Starbucks wasn't a 10 minute walk through the maze if stais and corridors from the room. Grounds were impeccable. The District right outside the door was gorgeous. Watch put for $45 resort fee whether you use amenities or not, you pay. Won't go back.
Recently stayed, disappointed ☹️ resort fee of $45 a night does not include spa pool, that’s an extra $25 a day on top. Can’t sit close to pool as you have to pay for the larger beds which are nearest to pool another $100 per day at least depending on day of the week! Hotel staff not efficient don’t recognise return guests and are in need of additional training in customer relations. However valet and casino staff amazing🤙.
Made a reservation at this hotel last November 2018 under the premise that it was a luxury hotel, which it isn't.
the front desk has attitudes and they are obnoxious, treating customers as if they were doing us a favor.
One night at aroud 10:00pm one of the hotel door alarms went off for over an hour, and after reporting it to the front desk and waiting over 40 minutes I called again to let them know I was going to talk to the manager the morning after if they would not send someone to turn off the alarm, and of course, they turned it off within five minutes.
Oh and you know that "shuttle service" they advertise between the hotel and the strip? Well, it has very limited hours and it is totally unreliable for most of the day, so, you end up paying for Uber or Lyft to get back and forth.
For the price they'd charge, just find a nice hotel near the strip.
There is nothing special about this hotel and its front desk service is poor.
Upgrade a four night stay for an additional fee.1st night no hot water/no air conditioning in living room Spoke to front desk & they said "hot water problem was probably because our room was towards the end of the hall". They sent maintenance to inspect & repair. 2nd night no hot water/no air conditioning in bedroom. There repair was to replace the shower head and redirect the cool air to the other room Spoke with Manager & asked for refund & to change to another room. Said she would get back to us shortly regarding the refund. She did not. I went to front desk again and did finally speak to the Manager (Stephanie) and she offered to refund only the 1st night upgrade fee and only half of the 2nd night upgrade fee. Really?? I expected a full refund for both nights since we were without hot water and air conditioning. This is not acceptable. The customer service at the hotel was horrible. We will never stay here again!!!
Stayed for a few days recently to wind down and enjoy their fantastic pools, but it ended up being really windy and cold, so sadly we couldn't use them. Instead, I had the best massage of my life from Ivan, and honestly, I am a massage connoisseur. I was recovering from partying a little too hard on the strip over the NCAA championship game, and he brought me back to life. I felt like a completely new person! It was pricey (but what isn't in Vegas?) and worth every dollar. He is a massage MASTER. The front desk encouraged me to check out and tip before the service, but I really wish I hadn't done that, because I would have tipped much more afterwards. Leaving was such a relaxed blur that it didn't occur to me to change it on my way out.
We were able to experience many of the restaurants on site, and they were mostly fantastic. I loved Boracha for it's laid-back scene, we sat at the bar, had great service and enjoyed the lively music. Especially loved the delicious fish tacos, carnitas tacos, beans, rice and sangria.
Hank's was great for their cocktails and jumbo lump crab appetizer.. it's a nice steak house and mostly gets it all perfectly on point, with a few exceptions. Our shrimp tempura appetizer was awful. Mostly, I wish they had some smaller portion options, my salad was HUGE and the smallest steak "petite filet" you can order is still 8 oz. Perhaps it just my personal preference, and it's not about the cost, but I hate throwing food away. We did enjoy the live musician they had very much, he played the piano and had a great voice.
Our server at the Day and Knight Cafe was top-notch, but the food was seriously lacking... we ate breakfast/brunch there, and while I appreciate that they serve breakfast all day, everything was too greasy and just...meh. The biscuits and gravy were inedible.
Our check-in process was with a woman who wasn't very friendly and didn't really give us any information about the resort. She just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. One other thing I'd like to mention are the rooms... pretty basic and mostly clean, bed was comfy and it was spacious, but I've really come to hate it when there is not even a small bistro table with two chairs to sit at in a hotel room. What if you order room service? Where are you supposed to eat it? On the bed? So strange and inconvenient..
Overall, this is a very quiet and relaxed spot to enjoy the pool, spa and restaurants, but certainly not much for night life options, and the casino feels pretty empty most of the time. Local hangout, which is cool. I would certainly go back, if only to enjoy another massage from Ivan.
