How to Get There

Le Manapany Cottages & Spa
Anse des Cayes
St Barthelemy, 97098 St Barts

The absolute worst experience by far on St B. I actually want to cry because every evening when on St B on your holiday you want to be memorable. I wish that I could completely delete the evening from my stomach and memory banks. It is too much and too complicated to get into. I will only say this: If you value your time, your money, your loved ones, you will avoid dining (dinner) at this terrible, terrible restaurant. From the chef that offers abysmal shabby food -both in prep taste & style, to the unprofessional improperly trained waitstaff for St B clientele, waiters. Not only was the food inedible, but slow, slow, slow service to the point of us nearly falling asleep at the table-and the place was empty. Dark, no music, noone around. We were dining at 9:45 PM on a Saturday and rushed to get there-to find we were the only people dining ! No exaggeration. It is a shame because it is a beautiful dining spot. This place is doomed. Doomed.

Nice Cozy Hotel which Exceeded our Expectations

In what started as a last minute summer getaway we booked this hotel with limited information on either the property or even the Island. To our surprise, the amazing staff at the Hotel converted this in an unforgettable experience in the Caribbean, looking forward to go back next year.

Excellent casual luxury

Although St Barts is known for being posh, it's actually quite chill. Manapany nails this relaxed luxury vibe perfectly. Other hotels we visited were either full of themselves, trying too hard to create a party vibe, or aiming to be a lunch/dinner destination. Manapany on the other hand is approachable yet chic. The staff are super nice and helpful with constant smiles. There's no rude posing here (cough Cheval Blanc cough). If you're looking for a party, this is not your place. If you're looking to chill out but maintain a luxury eco feel, you'll be right at home. The beach has a great outlook with no other hotels and few properties...so it feels remote and private. Rooms are clean with firm mattresses and great views. Landscaping feels tropical with great variety of vegetation that adds to the private feel. Spa area was equally nice with great yoga/pilates instructors. We never ate there besides breakfast which was good. Above all, the service was tops. We unfortunately missed our initial flight and arrived a day late. Not only did they upgrade our room but they didn't charge us for the night we missed when they could have. Nice touch on the anniversary champagne and madeleines too. Highly recommended!!
