Elegant 19th-century grande dame with an impressive wine cellar and a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Bay of Naples
Built in 1870, the Grand Hotel Parker's is an elegant grande dame with fantastic views of the Bay of Naples from its elevated position in the city's posh Corso Vittorio Emanuele neighborhood. The classic Italian interiors showcase chandeliers, antiques and sculptures, and the 82 guestrooms feature oak parquet floors and marble bathrooms. Book an Executive Room for a sitting room and free soft drinks. All rooms come with a balcony overlooking the hillside, the courtyard or the sea. The hotel is designed for luxe lounging: There's a library with more than 700 books (some of which date from the 19th century), a cigar bar that also serves rum and chocolate, and a rooftop restaurant for fancy fine dining and wining (the cellar stocks more than 150 labels). Head to the spa for a massage or an ayurvedic treatment, a spell in the sauna or a workout in the air-conditioned gym.
