How to Get There
The hotel management was very poor. My room had an uncovered shower heater with no warning it was hot enough to burn skin off that caused 3rd degree burns on my leg. When I asked the front desk for medical supplies and explained what happened, I was told I can walk a mile down the road and buy some (obviously with no offer of reimbursement even though we spent thousands at their hotel). I then tried to raise my concerns on the issue and the unsafe equipment that burned me in my room and was ignored. I tried to raise this to upper management and the GM as I would not want this to happen to anyone else, especially a child (luckily mine was not with me). I have received no return of my many calls, messages, and voicemails. Their social media site responded and said they will ensure the GM reach out to me, again, no response by the GM. They could care less now that I paid for my stay and am no longer their problem. So I am left no other option other than to let others know of potential mistreatment and the burn danger within the room before they book their stay. I would look elsewhere as there are many nice places in Yountville that care about their guests.
We arrived late at night after a long flight and ride from SFO. Check in went smoothly and we were escorted to our room. Although we didn't know it at the time, the bellboy had ripped the rubber off of one of our suitcase wheels I imagine on the bumpy cobblestones on the path to our room. The room, room service and breakfasts at the restaurant were excellent. We did receive some bad advice from the concierge on the first day of the power outage, but in response to an email by my wife, we were comped for breakfast the prior day to partly cover our wasted Uber ride expenses up and back to an offsite restaurant up the valley that turned out to be closed for food business.
We traveled as a large group. My wife and I loved our stay at Hotel Yountville. The hotel was great, we loved the pool. Great comfortable beautiful room. Great location in Napa and walking into town. Highly recommended
