How to Get There
We arrived late at night after a long flight and ride from SFO. Check in went smoothly and we were escorted to our room. Although we didn't know it at the time, the bellboy had ripped the rubber off of one of our suitcase wheels I imagine on the bumpy cobblestones on the path to our room. The room, room service and breakfasts at the restaurant were excellent. We did receive some bad advice from the concierge on the first day of the power outage, but in response to an email by my wife, we were comped for breakfast the prior day to partly cover our wasted Uber ride expenses up and back to an offsite restaurant up the valley that turned out to be closed for food business.
We traveled as a large group. My wife and I loved our stay at Hotel Yountville. The hotel was great, we loved the pool. Great comfortable beautiful room. Great location in Napa and walking into town. Highly recommended
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This hotel is beautiful and easy to access from the highway. It’s on the southern end of the town and you can walk everywhere. The rooms are so cute and had a canopy bed with a fireplace and small patio enclosed with vines. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and we had plenty of space (king bedroom). Only 2 floors to the resort. The room had a fridge and complimentary bottle of wine.
One of the best perks, that we weren’t aware of, are the discounted wine tastings at wineries in the area for staying at this hotel. We had a tasting scheduled that was $85 and it was comped by staying at this hotel so the cost of the room is WELL worth it. If we had just used their promotions we could have had a wonderful week of wine tasting experiences for almost free!
The restaurants is next to the most beautiful pool ever. Complete with cabanas and cushioned lounge chairs, an outdoor bar, fire pit, and awesome hot tub (next to the fire pit). The restaurant is right there and served an awesome breakfast. Great place to drink wine in the hot tub too (just no glasses).
Domain Chandon is across the street (but 1 mile walk to front entrance) and there are multiple tasting rooms in the town. Again, many can be free or buy 1, get 1.
