A fine Napa vintage blending romance with spa treatments, lush grounds, and a farm-to-table restaurant
Flanked by the Mayacamas Mountains and offering enchanting views of the surrounding vineyards, Harvest Inn’s 81 units are spread out among the four branches of the resort (Rose, Vineyard, Fountain, and Manor House), which cover eight acres of well-manicured gardens. A carved wooden bar, towering stone fireplace and exposed beam ceilings lend an Old World elegance to the cozy spaces, which are dotted with overstuffed sofas and buttery leather armchairs. Oversized rooms are designed for romance with Mission style oak wood beds, 400 thread-count linens and marble bathrooms stocked with Aveda products. Many rooms have gas-burning fireplaces, patios and soaking tubs. Some have private terraces with hot tubs for two. The rooms also feature fluffy robes, a flat-screen TV, a bottle of wine from a local vineyard and a coffee maker for your morning cup of joe. After a long day of exploring, book an in-room grape-seed facial and body scrub or lounge by one of two pools/hot tubs, then sample an array of vinos in front of a cozy cobblestone hearth. The hotel’s locavore restaurant, Harvest Table, serves dishes like pan roasted wild king salmon and organic chicken with roasted artichokes and cipollini onions. The concierge will be happy to suggest some nearby haunts, and can get you into most places.
In the Area
Go on a wine-tasting spree and hit some of St. Helena’s and Yountville’s most beloved wineries, like Domaine Chandon, Merryvale and V. Sattui. See the landscape from above by hot air balloon on a trip into the clouds with Napa Valley Balloons or join a guided bike ride through the vines with Napa Valley Bike Tours. Test your need for speed at Infineon Raceway, where you can be a spectator or join the action through the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School in Sonoma. Nearby Calistoga is known for its rejuvenating mud baths and geyser-fed mineral pools; book a tub and a scrub at Indian Springs Resort & Spa.
How to Get There
Our stay was serene, relaxing and extremely romantic. The staff was friendly, welcoming and warm. The location was great, close to all the vineyards as well as downtown. I will definitely be recommending to everyone that I know visiting the Napa Valley.
This is a lovely resort located right on the highway in St. Helena and located close to many vineyards.
The hotel grounds and architecture have a nice rustic european feel and the grounds have plenty of trees and greenery, and a nice large vineyard in the back (that you can walk through as well) that provides amazing views esp at sunset and sunrise.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and very comfortably accented. The bathroom was very spacious as well.
The food was good and the staff super friendly and accomodating.
Plenty of parking around the resort with marked walkways.
