Cozy bed and breakfast in Napa
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Overall this B&B place is very cozy. It's close to Napa downtown. It's very clean and staff is extremely nice. Only negative to mention about this place is the noise coming from other rooms. Since this is very old building, you are hearing all steps from your neighbor rooms. When I stayed here, we had really noise neighbor who kept walking around almost continuously ( don't what that person was doing ) even very late hours and it disturb our sleep. Breakfast is really good at this place. They really are putting a lot of effort on it. Note, that the building doesn't have elevator, so if you have heavy luggage it's going to tough to carry them upper floors. Also, due steep stairs to upper floors, those rooms are not suitable for any person with disabilities. Overall, great place to stay in Napa.

Couldn’t be better!!!

We found this boutique hotel/b&b through an article in Architectural Digest so we knew it would be beautiful. But the pampering service was beyond our expectations. We let them know we were vegan & they made us delicious vegan options very morning for breakfast. In addition to this, we called ahead to ask where the nearest juice place was because we drink a large glass of celery juice every morning. Candace, one of the innkeepers, said “oh we have a juicer here. I’ll run to the store to make sure we have celery for you every morning”. THe room was spacious & they has Apple TV so we could just check in to our account & watch whatever movie or v show we wanted. We spent most of our days touring wineries but I wish we had left some extra time to relax & enjoy their pool & hot tub. The setting was magical!

Lovely house with a little of everything
Reviewed 1 month ago

The house is a beautifully maintained old property with all modern fittings. The owners thoughtfully designed everything to suit your vacation needs - lovely sitting area out back by the pool with outdoor fireplaces, open kitchen and dining area with snacks and drinks left out, great small bites selections for breakfast that vary everyday. They are also chatty willing to give input and advice on things to do. Part of the dining area is a lounging seciton whic is great after a day of sightseeing and activities to sit around and unwind.

The White House won our affection even with a rocky start

We had an overall positive experience at the White House. When we arrived, despite our request for a room upstairs, we were shown a small room near the front door of the house. It was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we were looking to have a special time on our trip. We spoke with the manager and she was very helpful and arranged for us to stay in a larger room upstairs which was much better suited to our needs. We appreciated her responsiveness. The breakfast served is amazing with very healthy food and unique selections and we enjoyed the complimentary wine each night in the dining room. The grounds are very pleasant with the pool and jacuzzi steps away from the house. The house is also very conveniently located near downtown Napa so we could easily walk to restaurants and points of interest and barely had need for our rental car. Overall, I highly recommend the White House

Napa Vacation

The White House Inn is a great place to stay if you want to experience all Napa has to offer. It’s in the perfect location, close to downtown restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the inn keepers are great. Breakfast is served daily, and there’s plenty of food and variety. There’s a happy hour serving wine every afternoon. It’s a great way to wind down after the day, and before heading to dinner. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit on the property are added bonuses. The beds are comfortable, but the rooms are a bit small. Our bathroom was big, which seemed to be wasted space. We couldn’t fit two suitcases in our room and be able to move around without climbing over them, but there was space in the bathroom to keep one. I would highly recommend this inn and would consider staying there again in the future.
