How to Get There
Very clean staff very pleasant food tastie and well presented hot tub outdated on time for all treatments on the pricie side alot of relaxing areas afternoon tea very nice nail area outdated and loud !
This place is falling apart and they over charge with TONs of ADDED fees. The rooms are so bland and are not luxury at all. I would skip this place if you are really looking for a nice spa to get away. From dirty stained and torn robes to mold every where. The food is terrible and also expensive. The services are so cookie cutter. Nothing special about this at all.
We stayed for two days...we are not spa people and didn't avail ourselves of those amenities. We did use the pool (the outdoor pool that is chlorinated and heated)...it was wonderful. Breakfast at the Kensington's Restaurant wasn't great. They use liquid (not brewed) coffee even for the cappuccino...the only other alternative was French press which I find too strong. Our crab cakes/eggs Benedict wasn't great either...served with breakfast potatoes (which were not hot) the plate was warmed. My eggs were too firm (no runny yoke at all) but my husband's were fine. The presentation wasn't enhanced in at all...no fruit or parsley...$16.00 should at least get you a little side fruit since you're not getting an English muffin under the crab cake and egg...yes...no English muffin...an additional $4.00...since we have never had crab cake Benedict without an English muffin served to us, it was too late to order the muffin. Service was adequate but not overly friendly. Dinner at Ascot's Pub was a different story...our server was fun and accommodating...interacting and making us feel welcome. Appetizers were hot and nicely presented...the house made potato chips were delicious served with three different sauces...all good. We had a burger for our main course and it was cooked the way we wanted. All-in-all a quick get-away only one hour from home. The villas (where we stayed) are not handicapped accessible...you need to be in decent shape to go "up and down" stairs and long walkways.
