How to Get There
Just had our salon Christmas Party a great time was had by all. The staff was the best we can’t thank Gary Baker enough! We have to thank Adam, Lenny and Fred without all of therm helping us set up not sure what we would have done without them. The food was great and Jenn the bartender was a ton of fun. Thanks for a great party. Hope they will have us back next year!
What a nice night it was thanks to your staff. Everyone was so helpful and nice from the valet to the front desk. Thanks for making things happen at last minute. All of us loved how the property was beautifully decorated and we even had a fire in the fireplace. Nice touch. They waiters were very efficient. Food was over the top delicious. We will definitely keep you in mind for the future. Thanks again for a lovely evening.
Main resort was comfortable and clean, but some work is needed in the client service area. The beds were very comfortable. There is no fridge in the rooms for some reason and when we asked for one, they literally dumped a huge thing on the desk chair, so then we had a fridge but no usable desk.
Be aware that while they say there is coffee provided in the morning, it isn’t drinkable. The milk tasted like odd powdered milk. It was disgusting and was the case for two days in a row. Several people were complaining, so be prepared to leave the resort to find decent coffee, which can cut into your day.
Other than that the restaurants were good and the spa treatments were fine.
It was still a decent place to go, but don’t expect high end service or you will be disappointed.
My business recently held a first-of-its-kind event at the Norwich Inn. This was a 3-Day workshop for over 75 attendees that combined both hands-on workshops, educational classes and retail space. This event was an overwhelming success with much of its success due to the facilities and staff of the Norwich Inn. We utilized much of the event space and meeting rooms that were available at the Inn. The staff (with particular gratitude to the Inn's Director of Sales, Gary Baker) were extremely helpful and adapted to the unique needs of our event. We have held other large events at different locations but never one that was enjoyed by our attendees as much as this one. Highlights of the event and the location include the overall ambiance of the facilities, the exceedingly good quality of the food, and the attentiveness of the staff.
If you are thinking about holding an event for business and/or retail I highly recommend the Norwich Inn.
I went with 4 of my girl friends for an overnight. We did one of the overnight packages that includes a spa treatment, dinner, and breakfast. We had an amazingly, relaxing time. The weather was warm and sunny so we spent lots of time lounging in the lounge chairs outside and sipping cocktails. Our spa treatments were all wonderful. We hung out in our bathrobes for two whole days and loved every second of it. Extra food, drinks, boutique purchases, etc. are billed to the room so you don't need to carry a wallet around. We also did the complimentary wine tasting and tea time....nothing fancy, but two nice things to do. The only negative for me is that the Inn could use some updates (without taking away from the charm). For example, the ycould use some new AC units in the guest rooms and the wallpaper was peeling. Overall, a great stay and we are making it an annual thing.
