Understanding that Foxwoods does not have a lot of hotel options off the main campus we stayed at the tower. Our king room was nice but dated. The bathroom as large but the shower was not impressive. Not worth close to what it costs.

Bold, Big and Pretty Nice
Reviewed 1 week ago

We just stayed for a quick overnight visit while attending a 2 day event in the Ballroom at the Grand Pequot. As this is our first visit, the introduction was a bit overwhelming. Wonder at the size of it all! This place is huge and not easy to navigate at first glance. But once you understand the layout it feels better.
We were very nicely upgraded to a handicap suite at no additional cost. The suite was quite large and very comfortable. The amenities were all top notch, except for some minor wear and tear to the finishes in the suite. The room was quite clean and the bed was very comfortable. Service from the staff was punctual if not always very polite, but this is becoming an issue with too many service folks at hospitality venues.
If you are looking for a top notch experience, then this is probably the place to be.

Beware the “new computer system”

This visit continued a long history of family patronage of the various Foxwoods Resorts hotels and casinos dating back to the opening. We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries at Cedars, Micheal Burke Prime etc.
Sufficed to say, I have held a certain loyalty to Foxwoods over their rival, Mohegan Sun.

My brother and I live on different coasts and we met at Foxwoods this past weekend to catch up, eat and gamble. Foxwoods sends me multiple emails per week offering one or two free nights lodging and other perks. This visit went according to plan until check out when, even considering the previous visits, multiple offers, my enrollment in the rewards program, and my weekend losses etc. I was denied any relief of the hotel bill for my Saturday and Sunday night stay.
In multiple other instances I have always been given consideration at check out.
Today I was told because I did not inform them at registration the rates were set and could not be changed because of “the new computer system”. Despite my inquiries,
the inflexible rep, while never outwardly disrespectful, remained firm in her answer and position essentially refusing to ask a manager. My internal frustration dictated that I just pay the bill and walk away. I did just that.
I am not naive, I know this is a casino. I know I will likely lose money but to lose it both coming AND going remains a problem with me. Next time I’ll be starting a new history at Mohegan Sun.

Clean & modern rooms

I recently stayed at Foxwoods Resort & Casino...we had a very nice room in the Pequot Towers. The room was spacious, clean and had midern furnishings. The bath was large and had nice toiletries and soap. Our only complaint was the set of elevators which we used from the lobby and casino to get to our room only one elevator working so the wait was long. Otherwise, our stay was great!

Great experience!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The room was perfect. The bathtub was a phenomenal soaking tub. No complaints at all. I overheard a couple discussing that it didn't look "new" and had 2nd thoughts about staying here- well.. it's not new! But that has no effect at all on anything. I can't wait to go back!
