Brand new boutique property in Mykonos town with unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea from all 20 suites
Opening on May 15, 2014, this elegant escape in Mykonos town comprises just 20 suites with spacious balconies overlooking the Aegean Sea. The suites artfully combine traditional Mykonos style (whitewashed walls, chunky stone floors, wooden shutters) and a bohemian aesthetic (bright Acapulco chairs, rustic light fixtures, bold graphic print fabrics). Standing fans designed to mimic the island's famous windmills keep things cool. All suites have similar layouts, but the Superior Sea View Suites come with dining areas and large terraces with sun loungers, and the Honeymoon Suite has an outdoor Jacuzzi. The bathrooms are done in sleek slate-gray. The outdoor pool, alfresco restaurant and laid-back bar all offer panoramic views of the sea and the neighboring island of Delos. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant specializes in seafood and Mediterranean-inspired dishes made with local produce. Breakfast is served in your suite or on your private balcony at a time that suits you.
In the Area
Hit the swanky boutiques in Mykonos town. Shop for designer threads on Matogianni Street or wander through the Little Venice district to pick up quirky gifts and artworks. Sip a cocktail at the stylish waterside bar Caprice; the views take in the island’s famous windmills and harbor. For an alternative view of the Mykonos coastline, ride horseback on one of the island’s best beaches or sail across to the tiny, rocky island of Delos, a trading center of the ancient world and the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. The Paraportiani church, much admired by the French-Swiss architect Le Corbusier, is one of the most photographed sights on the island.
