Renowned the world over for pioneering the “luxury beach club” concept, Nikki Beach arrived in already-hip Bodrum on the Turkish coast in August 2016 and immediately upped the local scenester game. Set on a spectacular green peninsula jutting out into Torba Bay, the resort features 76 rooms and suites spread across a semi-circle of bright white modernist cubes that look like futuristic seashells. Massive rooms offer spectacular sea views, along with the brand’s famous customisable “MyBar”, entertainment walls and mood lighting.
The white and turquoise colour palette mirrors the surrounding landscape, and guests can take the latter in as they congregate by the rooftop swimming pool – chill by day, jumping by night – all whilst sipping on cocktails or munching on sushi rolls and freshly-caught seafood. While partying is very much a priority at Nikki Beach Club, wellness is taken just as seriously with a state-of-the-art, TechnoGym-filled fitness centre and sumptuous Nikki Spa. Guests can burn off the booze snorkeling, windsurfing and waterskiing, or simply while away the hours in a plush poolside cabana. Whether you’re up for thrills or laid-back bliss, the scene here is very much what you choose to make of it.
How to Get There
What is going on Nikki Beach? I tried every single phone number on the website multiple times and nobody answered!
Is this place even still in operation?
This isn’t my only reason for dissatisfaction.
I booked this hotel with a “pay later” (pay on arrival) option for May 2019, and suddenly I look at my bank statement and to my surprise they had randomly taken full payment without informing me that they have “changed their policies”. Hotels.com arranged my cancellation and a full refund - but any customers out there that have already booked you better check your bank statement now as you may have a surprise awaiting you!!
Shocking communication from a “5 star” resort, clearly there are no staff there and those who are there don’t know what they are doing.
The villas are beautiful, new and clean. The property is well-designed and modern. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - so many fresh food choices. the pool outside the restaurant was gorgeous and clean with a stunning sunset view. The day beds scattered around the property were also beautiful and provided somewhere to relax and sleep by the water.
The only thing about this spa that was a let down was the service. The staff themselves were lovely but there were not enough of them. We kept being told that they were short-staffed, that people were quitting their jobs or calling in sick. This was absolutely felt by our group of 6. On several occasions, it took 30 mins for a waiter to take our drink order and then another 30 mins for the waiter to bring it out. No one was around when we needed them. That's the only failing.
ATTENTION! As a group a 20 people of couples to spend a quality time and relax at this hote! This is definitely a REGRET! And a NO!
If you plan to go and relax, this is not the place to go due to the following experiences we encountered!
1- the beach club, which is the main pool of the hotel is basically the only place to hangout is run by a third party group which is not related to the Niki beach hotel and they dont care about the hotel guests whatsoever. Theyre keep trying to rip you off, worse service ever, none of them speak english and you end up going to the reception everyday to mark off all the extra charges which were purposely added to your room hoping you wouldn’t find out!
2- as hotel guests your not allowed to use the beds freely, there is a minium charge to spend offering unkown turkish vodkas!
3- the breakfast was aweful and the menu didnt change during my 5 day stay at this hotel.
The food was also awful and nothing to do at nights , no events taking place for hotel guests!
4- however, i have to mention the staff at the reception were very polite! Responsive, well spoken english and cooperative with guests.
Please consider the above point before making your decision
We stayed in one of the hotels finest suites, the suite had a private pool, lounging area and everything!
I would say it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in and would reccomend this hotel to everyone
The breakfast bar was incredible, there was a variety of different foods to choose from.
The staff was super friendly as well; our room was always spotless clean.
Best vacation ever, thank you Nikki Beach for the wonderful memories.
Everything was spectacular. We went to Nikki Beach between 26-29 October. I could not believe how luxury everything was. Our room view was everything we could ask for. Our room ( I am sad about calling it a "room") was excellent. It had a bath, a separate shower, two taps, a huge dressing room, a huge bed, a television, a coffeé machine, etc... You can fill in the blanks.
Room was always clean. The staff was accommodating and obliging.
The breakfast was also fulfilling, and their omelets were very good. It was a like a dream spending some quiet time with our loved ones. Thank you so much Nikki Beach! I hope we can see each other again! :)
