How to Get There
Just returned home after a relaxing week at Sarpedor. The hotel is stunning and the service is superb.
Massive thank you to Murat, Yusef, Sahiyar and Elvir for their hospitality. Their service was much appreciated and made the week feel even more special.
The barbecue and buffet has a great selection and there is plenty to choose from on the drinks list.
Overall a fantastic stay and would love to return. Can’t recommend enough!
Sarpedor Boutique Hotel & Spa is a great place to be with your friends on a vacation. The hotel is located conveniently and is easily visible from the road. The check-in process was good and comfortable. The rooms had a great view of the sea as well as land. The rooms was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The bathroom was also well built and nice. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and elaborate and we enjoyed the same everyday. The quality of the food was good.
5* Location, large clean room, very friendly staff in particular Ali. A few minors the management could get right at that price level. Weak Wifi in room, no hot water in the morning, even cold water gets cloudy. I would rate the room at 3* with one strange layout feature, the toilet door is right next to bed and pillow.
- The service in the restaurant and bar was execellent. Yusuf, Tevrir, Elvir and Melahat are really friendly and take care of you the hole day (Thank you guys!).
- The Hotel is quiet and small. We were looking for a hotel like this, we don‘t like the big hotels, that’s why we were very happy with are choice.
- The food was every day fresh and the restaurant had a amazing view.
The Sarpedor Hotel & Spa is an amazing resort. The pool, bar, terrace, decking, jetty and cabana areas all enjoy wonderful and uninterrupted sea views, are very comfortable and are immaculately presented - and they are (at least in May) almost completely deserted!
There are 49 rooms/suites in total, and although we were told that they were “about 50%” full at the time, I reckoned that the resort was being used to less than 10% of it’s actual capacity. There was no need to worry about if/where you might find somewhere to sit or lay - and thus absolutely NO need for the unseemly rush to reserve your favourite sun lounger. And I suspect that even when the resort is fully occupied in the high season, this will still be the case.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and engaging - and although some of the junior team members had very little English (albeit far exceeding our grasp of Turkish!) - they were always keen to try and meet our requests.
Even with so few guests (we never saw more than 6-8 guests in the restaurant at any one time) the Chefs always presented a good range of hot/cold buffet options along with choices from a BBQ (or ‘grill’) every evening.
Perhaps the only downside is the fact that the hotel is situated on a steeply sloping plot, and thus getting from A to B involves quite a lot of steps - so this might not be ideal for someone who has difficulties in this regard.
However, I think the most telling fact is that in 28 years of travelling the world together this is the very first time that my wife and I have never once left the hotel grounds from the moment we checked-in to the moment we checked-out 7 days later.
If you are looking for the ultimate relaxing pool or sea front break, in beautiful surroundings, with exemplary service - then the Sarpedor Hotel & Spa is the place for you.
