On a hillside above the Bodrum Peninsula’s chichi North Shore, this chic boutique is the brainchild of imaginative Turkish-Canadian owners Ali and Esra. An unfailingly congenial atmosphere pervades this attractive complex of low-rise buildings, and the views stretch across citrus groves to the bright lights of Yalikavak and the Aegean Sea. The 20 guestrooms are split into four categories: Casual (with a mini–sitting area and a shared terrace); Functional (great for families, with two adjoining rooms and two bathrooms); Passionate (with a sea-view balcony and a wood-burning fireplace); and Junior Suite (a spacious open-plan layout with a common terrace). They’re all bright and stylish and barely a skip from the 25-meter pool, where you’ll find loungers and attentive staff aplenty. Dine alfresco on local seafood and tapas-style mezzes; the mucver (zucchini fritters) are a particular highlight. Join a yoga session in the verdant garden, where the wellness masseur works his magic. With all this on-site, there’s really no reason to stir, but trad/mod Yalikavak, a fishing-village-meets-mega-marina lined with boutiques and bars, is just a half-hour stroll away, the same amount of time it takes to reach Bodrum by car.
In the Area
After the high summer season, once the coast road has unclogged, venture west to Gumusluk’s quaint waterside tavernas or east to shiny-glam Turkbuku, home to legendary party venues like Macakizi. Make a day of it and immerse yourself in ancient ruins at Euromos (75 minutes) or Stratonikeia (90 minutes), or check out Bodrum’s own ancient wonder, the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. Hire a boat to reach the peninsula’s quieter bays, or browse Bodrum’s bustling market for “genuine fake” accessories or hand-made leather sandals.
How to Get There
Stayed at 4Reasons hotel early October for a few days with my mother but was bedridden the entire time due to illness. As a result, I could not fully explore the hotel to see what stood out but what I can vouch for is the hotel staff customer service. Across my 3 weeks in Turkey no other hotel staff personnel impressed me as much as these guys. From immediately calling a doctor for me when I was being stubborn about my recovery to them asking about my wellness on a periodic basis, they seemed very genuine. I appreciated it.
Aside from that, place was clean and the food was great. Turkish breakfast in the morning was good and outside you have a beautiful view. Only suggestion would be to maybe go out to eat as the dinner menu at the hotel was limited. Lunch menu Chicken fingers were legit though.
I'd recommend these guys.
Very quiet and elegant place. Everything was wonderful. Hope to come back again. I recommend everybody who likes great view , good food, clean rooms, and friendly employees. I wish we could be able to stay longer.
I enjoyed staying in 4 Reasons Hotel in Yalikavak , Bodrum with my wife. The hotel has one of the best scenery of Yalikavak heights overlooking the sea. Sunset view is amazing. Access to the hotel is a bit tricky as you need yo drive through small roads
This is a small boutique hotel. The staff is nice and supportive . Having breakfast by the pool is really nice. Beach is about 5 mn drive.
