Overview

Fabulous five-star South Africa stay at ultra-luxe boutique hotel in the stunning province of Mpumalanga, with optional half board

The Lowdown

Dewy-eyed romantics who fancy a soul-stirring safari jaunt without roughing it under canvas can expect to be blown away by this five-star boutique property in Mpumalanga – the so-called “land of the rising sun” that extends east from Gauteng to Mozambique and Swaziland. As location’s go, it doesn’t get better; not least because you’ll be so close to Kruger National Park – the Big Five winner that’s home to more species of large mammals than any other African game reserve.
There’s just eight incredibly luxurious suites here, all of which feature French boutique-chic decor (crystal chandeliers, lavish fabrics, elegant hand-painted furniture, statement-making wall coverings) as well as king-size beds swathed in high-thread count cottons. A terrace with private Jacuzzi, outdoor day bed, fireplace, flatscreen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, and gorgeous bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries complete the lovely touches.
Elsewhere, you’ll find an outdoor pool lined with sunloungers, beautiful gardens, and an excellent all-day restaurant for freshly-prepared dishes created with in-season and organic ingredients (many of which are grown on the hotel’s farm). There’s also a deep spa menu for splurge-worthy beauty rituals, all of which can be enjoyed in the privacy of your opulent suite.

Good One Night Stay
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The Belgrace Boutique Hotel is indeed a hidden gem just outside White River. It was a great overnight stop and we were each treated to our very own suite with jacuzzi and outside veranda. My suite even had an outside shower! I appreciated the spaciousness of the suite and could get some work done before dinner. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

My partner and I just left after a 1 night stay here. The property was nice and the staff was attentive. It is a good spot close to the airport for a short stay.
The food was good, not great.
They were not organized with our transfer in the morning and weren’t sure who was bringing us when it was indeed them.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Completely blown away by the incredible service by the friendly and helpful staff, the immaculately clean and exquisite room! They have ticked all the boxes for our stay, we will definitely be back! 10 stars!

Just idyllic!

Visitors from the UK, we have stayed in several White River lodges and hotels over the years, and they have all been good. Belgrace however is something special. From the moment you are picked up (free of charge) from KMIA, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are always attentive without being obtrusive. Our luxury suite was immaculately furnished and well maintained. The hotel is a peaceful haven and ideally situated for a restful few days before or after a safari in nearby Sabi Sands. Meals are excellent and very reasonably priced as is the wine selection. We were very sorry to leave after three nights and would recommend unreservedly!
