We needed to find somewhere to spend a few days in July between trips to Paris, so plumped for 4 days in Brittany. This was a really pleasant surprise for us. Great location, the building is designed on the basis of a cruise ship and was great. A good place to explore the locality from.

My husband and I stayed here in a tour of France and I loved the rooms so much. You can walk to the pier for food and drinks but there’s not a lot to do here outside if going to the pier and the bunker near by. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night and it was good but had to keep asking for the waiter to bring me more bread😩aside from that it was lovely great for couples and be ready for everyone to be in robes 24-7 as it is mainly a spa hotel!!

We stayed here for 4 nights in Aug and such a fantastic time. The room is very nicely designed as is the whole hotel, the designer should have won an award. The three pool areas were really good as were the spa treatments and we loved the restaurant. Nothing to fault this hotel, literally a couple of hooks to hang your towels in the bathroom and that’s it !

We have just had 5 nights in this wonderful hotel. Bit of a hiccup when we arrived as they could not find our reservation, they where very apologetic and , while waiting we were shown around the hotels facilities by one of the concierge staff. When we finally got our room it did not disappoint, 2nd floor near the front, it was a super room, great size and spotlessly clean. As per previous comments our air conditioning had no problem with the 30+ degrees heat. The breakfast buffet is very good. We have used the decking area to sunbathe, also the nearby beach. The hotel is ideally situated to walk into the Port but for better food go to Port Navalo a 5 min drive away.. The concierge have been very helpful booking dinner reservations and boat trips. We will recommend this hotel to our friends.

Nice hotel: somewhat ‘artificial’ in a way (a cruise ship construction in a lake surrounding amidst a residential area), but quite original anyhow, nicely furbished, spacious rooms, clean, nice relaxing and spa facilities...
We loved the setting. We liked our room just as much. Top!
Our advice: book your stay at the hotel, you won’t regret the decision, but... have your diner elsewhere.
We booked a table at the hotel restaurant for diner. A bit of a strange experience when we entered the (narrow and somewhat strange and unpleasant) dining room... Only 6 tables taken in the midst of the Summer high season... Bizar... But ok, who cares, perhaps those that were absent are wrong... At least, that’s what we hoped for at that stage... We chose the ‘menu d’expérience’. It looked appealing with lobster as one of the courses. In reality it appeared to be a ‘menu de surprise’ instead, however.
The surprise: no lobster, my dear... Some oysters instead, opened in an amateur way, with numerous shell fragments grinding our teeth. OK, everyone can make a mistake, we thought. The couple of ladies sitting next to us had an equally disappointing experience, but didn’t dare to make a remark to the waiter. We did, but the nice young man’s answer stressed our ‘misreading of the menu’ 🙄(?). ‘The guest is always wrong’ probably?...
When we were asked to sign the bill, we finally got the confirmation that the info on the menu was wrong indeed. Hoorray... we were glad to get the confirmation that we’re not yet imagining things 😁. Ouf... Now let’s get some apologies and things are settled...
THE biggest disappointment...: no apologies at all. On the contrary even. What did we get? A blunt reply and an arrogant suggestion to grant us a few euro discount on the bill. The head waiter must have noticed the disbelief and astonishment in our eyes. We were not begging for a rediculous discount. The only thing we were looking for was a short and sincere ‘excusez-nous, erreur de notre part, désolé...’. The final reply we got instead however...: ‘vous voulez plus?’.
We didn’t answer the question, signed the bill, went to bed, and checked TripAdvisor for some good restaurants for the next days.... We lezrned by experience why only 6 tables were occupied in the Miramar restaurant.
