Fantastic Weekend Getaway!
Reviewed 8 hours ago

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night for his birthday. While he had made the reservations, Naiomi helped me with a beautiful surprise. When I inquired about options for room gifts, she provided me several options. Her email communications was amazing! She personally picked up a balloon and chocolates arrangement for me and had them displayed in the room upon our arrival. Later that evening we came home from dinner with a bottle of wine and a hand written card from her. The service was fantastic all around and a VERY pet friendly hotel. We had a large dog who did fantastic. The hotel had a list of dog friendly places within walking distance we could dine at. The spa was heavenly, but the water in both the men and women's showers were running cold. We just showered in our hotel rooms after instead :) Would highly recommend this hotel. The design of the hotel is beautiful. Loved the open entry way with trees and the beautiful fireplace at the bar. Can't beat a night on the harbor!

Monterey Trip
Reviewed 12 hours ago

This was our first trip to Monterey. I had a business conference and my friend "tagged" alone. From check in to check out it was a pleasure. We first met Donna (phone operator) on the sidewalk outside the hotel as she was going to work and stopped her and asked all kinds of questions. She was wonderful and so helpful and told us to talk to Naiomi and she would answer anything we needed. My friend use to be a travel agent so she had many questions. Naiomi was not only a delight, she was most helpful and led us in all the right directions. I would be glad to say Naiomi is why our trip turned out great. As I had meetings in the day, her and my friend planned the evening. She got the best driver ever, George, to take us to Big Sur, suggested the best restaurants and activities. She had patience and never stopped smiling. We thank you Naiomi from your Alabama girls!!!!!!!!!

My room was wonderful. The hotel staff was wonderful. I ate several times there and the food was great. I loved the location and the closeness to the beach and the wharf. What a wonderful, relaxing time.

location was great, people were very friendly, the weather though was not that great when we were there in may. love the view our room showed a little of the ocean which I love. I'm still hoping the city will bring back the calamari and clam chowder festival back some day.

Conference Hotel... not the best in the city!

Friendly staff, clean room, close to historic Fisherman's Warf; however older, not all rooms have air condition (no central air - only heat!). There is 1 bank of elevators which is too far from most room locations - Get ready to walk some distance!!
