How to Get There
We stayed two nights during the week, and we were impressed with the rooms, the decor, the service, and everything else there. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and in the perfect location for a Monterey vacation. The staff were all so nice and friendly and accommodating - everyone was polite and went out of their way to be helpful. We ate three meals at the on-site restaurant and the food was VERY good. We also used in-room dining and it was quick and they were friendly and the food arrived hot and tasted great.
Stayed in hotel valet parking, check in with Robert was great .We got turn down chocolates ,close to everything and Del Monte shopping center not far.Check in easy .Would be nice if hotel would insulate walls better ,I heard neighbors all night LOL .If you want privacy book top floor ,there’s public walkway on bottom floor.I will stay again.
I want to like this hotel because I stayed with this hotel in other state. The location is really great. Our room has ocean view room and very roomy. No empty spot to put our water in the fridge it was filled with beverages to buy. The noise of the heater or AC is unbearable in the middle of the night. Every time it will turn on it will woke us up. The breakfast is good and service is great.
So I'll start with the parking which was not as straight forward as we couldv'e hoped (as Brits, we don't do valet parking). The car park was not easy to find and a bit of a walk to the hotel with lots of steps/stairs which is not good with luggage. Anyhow, check-in was quick and easy and our room, although small, was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the view out of the window was of a brick wall. As IHG Platinum members we were told we had been given a room upgrade...I dread to think what the room we should've had was like!
We were also gifted two free drinks at the bar but the drinks offered were not of our liking and the bar so busy, there was nowhere to sit.
The location of the hotel is perfect with lots of eateries close by.
The staff that we encountered were pleasant but not overly friendly.
Fine for one or two nights stay.
What a stunning hotel. From the moment we drove up and saw the beautiful exterior of the building to then going to our stunning room we loved every moment of our stay there.
Happy hour from 4-6 has some great craft beers and the house sauvignon blanc wine was good too. We also ordered the calamari to help soak up the alcohol and the portion was very generous.
No resort fees but the valet parking is expensive I think at $31 dollars.
I would definitely recommend and go again
