Rooms were dated. A/C retrofitted did not work well at all and so very loud. Rooms faced highway so could not have window open at night for cool air. Attended banquet there during my stay. Plain chicken was dry and stringy. Generally love Hyatts but this one needs work.

1-Year Anniversary Trip
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We arrived on a rainy Wednesday night after hiking all over Yosemite for the past 24 hours. We were greeted by a very nice and helpful gentleman named Joe who definitely took care of us. Upon arrival, he upgraded our room, made us dinner reservations at one of the best seafood spots in town, and gave some recommendations for things to do in Big Sur. I might add that the seafood restaurant he recommended was OUTSTANDING!!! Joe really went above and beyond what we were expecting to make our anniversary trip extra special. The hotel and grounds were clean and beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful. Pay the extra $$$ to get the service and perks here at the Hyatt. Believe me it’s worth it! Thank you Joe!
