How to Get There
Nicely located downtown. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and well decorated although my room was slightly small. The hotel was very quiet. Paid the same amount as the Hampton Inn, and the Northern Hotel is much nicer. Highly recommend if staying in Billings.
The Northern Hotel is an excellent property. As a luxury travel professional, I frequently stay at the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, and so forth. I have to say that this hotel checks all of the boxes of what "luxury" truly means. I flew into Billings for a wedding and it was my first time in the city. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. From the decor, to the spacious updated rooms, and the nicest, most attentive staff I have ever met, (thank you Tony and Emily), I can't wait for the opportunity to return. We stayed in a two bedroom suite on the 8th floor and it was absolutely perfect for my family. We were there for a "destination wedding" and many of the guests flew in from New York, Milan, Paris, L.A and so forth. They all raved about the property as well. That being said, I have read some reviews about pricing, and all I can say about that is, you get what you pay for. The Northern Hotel is worth every dollar and then some!
Business travel required that I stay here, not knowing anything about it, didn't know what to expect. Very pleasantly surprised. Quiet room, nice bed (comfortable, nice pillows), great seating area in room with good lights. Wi-fi not all bars so very slow. good shower with good products available. I sleep with drapes open to get on cycle with time zone but unfortunately, didn't pay attention to orientation. The window facing head of bed was due east so sun rose directly into my eyes (my fault, not hotel's). Nice lobby area. Easy walking distance to everywhere. Would stay here again on my own dime for sure
I was put up here by a company while interviewing for a job and stayed for two nights. The hotel is clean, quiet and has a lot of services and amenities. It's in a great spot in Billings and you can walk to a lot of interesting places downtown. And the staff is extremely polite and helpful!
Pretty, classic modern, clean downtown boutique hotel. Good restaurant and bar, free parking, valet service and friendly staff. Loved Bernie’s for breakfast!! I would
gladly stay here again and recommend it
to others. Hotel is within walking distance to nice restaurants and the only Starbuck’s downtown.
