Great hotel, great location
Reviewed 5 hours ago

We travelled to Monaco for a short break and opted to stay in The Hotel Hermitage based on a friends recommendation. From the very beginning we knew we were staying in a great hotel. Fabulous service from the valet parking to reception in the first 10 minutes. We were offered an upgraded room (not free) and were told it would be special, it truly was, overlooking the port and Palace. Truly stunning view, thoroughly recommend

Drinks on the Crystal bar terrace

We visited the Crystal Bar for a glass of fizz (€22 a glass) but it comes with a full plate of nibbles and incredible service and views. A very nice treat!

The waiters were incredibly professional the hotel is elegant and utterly spotless.

This is the second time we’ve been to the Hermitage. The service is excellent, staff were very friendly. We loved the cocktails on Le Crystal bar, and sitting out drinking on the terrace, the views over Monte-Carlo are amazing. We had dinner La Vistamar which was very enjoyable. Our room was traditional and very spacious. The breakfast area is one of my favourite places to start the day as the decor is beautiful, the food and service are also excellent. Location is the best, literally a few yards to the main square, Casino etc. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Monte-Carlo.

Fabulous Hotel 🏨 Cannot fault it !!! 😎. Concierge went out of their way to make our trip special, booking our trips and our airport transfers all at short notice . Grateful thanks to Therese, Matthieu, Lorenzo... they made our trip !!!

A great hotel if you want the real Monte Carlo experience

I stayed here for a week for a work event. The hotel staff are incredible and service is very high.

The rooms are dated - my grandparents would have loved them though. There weren't any plug sockets by the bed which was rather old fashioned. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries were super - even if they are a little tight with them.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets a real treat. I noticed that housekeeping doesn't clean the rooms until the end of the day when they do turndown service. This sort of let things down a little.

My room has a view of a wall, which I expect is down to my corporate booking. I definitely didn't have a sea view, but there are plenty of places to see it in the city.

Breakfast was good - if the selection available was limited. The breakfast room itself is very opulent. The Crystal Bar was a great spot for after work drinks.

The gym is excellent - the staff are super friendly. The pool area looked great too, but I didn't have time to use it.

The location is excellent - right in the middle of town.

I guess my highlight was the staff and the low point was the once a day housekeeping.
