Beautiful place
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This place is beautiful and there is a lot to do.
Unfortunately when we stayed there was severe weather so we didn't get to take advantage of the pool as much as we wanted to.
The down sides- when the tornado alarm went off we called the front desk to ask where to go and they didn't know.
Also we attended a scavenger hunt at the activity center which would have been a lot of fun except that it started an hour late and the people running it got us started then disappeared so we couldn't ask questions when we got stumped. There was supposed to be smoothies after the scavenger hunt and there was noone there.
The room itself and pool area was nice enough for me to overlook these negatives and recommend this place though.

very nice resort, one of the best. They charge for cleaning on wed. Branson was very expensive for the shows. We cruise with Lake queen was not expensive. Saw a variety show, The best thing we did, went to Top of the Rock, which you drive the golf cart on the path and you see amazing water falls and go into a cave. They also have a museum.

No storage

The resort was very nice one of the best looking ones we have stayed at.
But there is little to no storage for grocers and that type of stuff. Very nice frig. with a well stocked kitchen of pots and pans but no counter space.

We were given a room that using stairs was required when they had rooms on the ground floor available. The coffee pot was broken and one of the sliding doors on the bedroom closet was off the rail which made use of the closet hard to use.

Our stay and the Lodges at Timber Ridge was amazing! The staff was super considerate and when I called to see how to turn the ice maker on, they promptly sent someone to show me and they also brought a bag of ice! The pool area was nice and my son really enjoyed the water slide. I enjoyed that there was a hot tub on the inside and outside with clear views to the kids area and pool. I wish this wasn't a 1 in 4 because we would love to stay here again without the 4 year wait.
