Lovely hotel

If you want a hotel which is surrounded by lovely New York charm. This is for you it is a twenty second walk to Arby’s an amazing sandwich joint I cannot recommend enough. Anyway that’s another review. we were greeted with lovely staff and a scrumptious warm cookie. There was a charming lady who pressed all the lift buttons for us. Downstairs there was fresh fruit water. Which we appreciated massively after getting off a hot coach going into New York. The room it’ was ok it was kind of small and I think a family room was a bit of an understatement. There was nowhere to put our suitcases. The beds were comfy . And that’s my only moan. There was a colour tv and the room was immaculate. Cleaned every day it was amazing. If we were just staying in New your for a couple of days with smaller suitcases then this would of been perfect but as we were going to Florida for 2 weeks after we needed larger suitcases. It was a lovely hotel

Unfriendly staff

The staff are very rude, unhelpful and very unapproachable. I asked for a fridge to be delivered to my room. Guest services told me that they would send one to my room. I waited 35 minutes and then called to chased it, only to be told that they had no fridges and, one should be available the following day. No apologies for the wait and the attitude of the staff was rude. The next day, I asked for a plate and cutlery at the bar as the kitchen was closed. The bar staff refused to cooperate. When I mentioned if he needs to ask his manager, all of a sudden, he quickly gave me a plate and cutlery and walked off.

The rooms smell of dirty carpet (musty). In need of refurbished and definitely in need of new staff. Standards from a customer service level is well below standard.

The only advantage is hotel is in a great location for access to the transport network system and shops etc.

A very good location hotel

The room was good size with two queen beds, clean, and comfy. It is located in walking distance to famous spots in NYC. The price was affordable for hotels located in prime area in the city. Surely recommended.
