How to Get There
Waiting 15 minutes for an elevator is a crazy notion, but waiting more than an hour for chicken fingers and fries is even crazier! I accidentally left 2 coats in my room after checkout, I've contacted the hotel twice and still havent gotten a response.. Sad because I have to be back in Minneapolis in January and I think I'll stay across the street at the Mellenium
I was at this hotel simply because the event I went to was at the hotel - it was convenient. My previous stays at Hyatt Hotels have been excellent to exemplary - this was not the case with this one. Arriving Friday night to check in, there was a MASSIVE queue waiting and only ONE person at the front desk. Had to wait almost an hour to be completely checked in. The staff at the restaurant was also understaffed and even during off-peak times, the wait staff did not know how to multi-task. Since there was no host/hostess, the wait staff also had to serve as the hosts - which I find bizarre for a major hotel in a downtown location. Overall, if I had a choice, I would not return here on my own free will.
We attended the Galaxy Con - this is a great place to stay with cold weather outside. We could walk along the sky walks back and forth to the convention center. Super Convenient - no need for coats to check.
