The Grosvenor nods to retro excess with Deco-inspired interiors—think geometric patterned marble floors and tufted upholstered walls—mixing with thoroughly modern bars and 749 rooms. Luxe minimalism reigns in the suites with muted palettes of ecru and white with pops of copper and dark wood furniture. Facilities include three spas—the male grooming 1847, the unisex Retreat and the women-only B’Attitude. The two pools might be too small for some guests, but free access is available to nearby Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa. What the Grosvenor lacks in pool size it more than makes up for in restaurants and lounges: 16 in total, including Rhodes in Residence, helmed by British celeb chef Gary Rhodes who serves Brit classics with a French twist.
In the Area
The Dubai Marina is built around a man-made canal that runs two miles along the Persian Gulf. Eating and drinking options include European dishes (and a weekend roast) at Café Bistro and Aquara, a seafood restaurant with views of the boats at the Marina Yacht Club. Max your card at the enormous Mall of the Emirates and seek out sparkles at the Gold and Diamond Park, a modernized version of the gold souk. Golfers will find championship level courses nearby at Emirates Golf Club and The Montgomerie.
How to Get There
This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. What amazing surroundings, food and customer service. Booked a double deluxe room and were given the most beautiful corner room with balcony and views over both the marina and the beach. Can’t recommend the hotel enough and the staff members are second to none. Thank you for everything.
We stayed here during July for 10 nights and had the most amazing time. From booking to check out the staff were incredibly helpful and sincere. All staff from front of house, housekeeping, wait staff made our holiday amazing and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a wonderful time. We had stayed here previously and had a wonderful time and felt this time was even better. We stayed half board and the choice of restaurants was brilliant, the food was delicious in every place we ate and drinks were very reasonable especially during happy hour. We can not recommend this hotel highly enough, it’s beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and has a classy and sophisticated atmosphere.
Thank you to all staff who made our stay exceptional!
What can I say!!
We checked in on 1st August,we were quickly sorted out with a room.
We decided to upgrade to a premier suite on arrival and it was done with no hassle whatsoever.
The suite was superb and came with the added benefit of access to the Level 5 executive lounge, which was great.
This being our 5th visit to the hotel and it didn’t let us down.
The staff do a fantastic job even remembering us from the previous stays.
There is nothing I can criticise at this amazing hotel.
Added bonus was when they remembered my wife’s birthday and left a cake,a bottle of wine and flowers for her in our room.
