Lovely old time New England country inn

Had the occasion this past weekend to stay at the Brunswick Inn. The main house is a lovely old New England Inn. And there are several separate buildings very close by. My room was in the carriage house. Beautiful. Large. Clean. And QUIET. Breakfast is served in the tavern/bar area of the main house with a cozy fire built in the authentic original cook fireplace. Delicious. And the Inn's bold coffee will match anything Starbucks has to offer. Just the thing. Highly recommended.

OMG - The Best! You must go here...

The Inn is spectacular... The owners even better! Eileen - owner and staff are so caring and they are all about hospitality... My wife and I wanted to get out of VT and relax - we couldn't be happier! Don't just go to shop, we spent half the day visiting the college and the local museums are so fascinating - also the art gallery on campus is awesome...

We had or enjoyed breakfast each morning and it was so pleasant... The college vibe carries over on the green next door and in town. Please use this Inn for your stay over you won't be disappointed!!!

A very good country inn

There is a lot to like about the Brunswick Inn. The convenient location on Park Row in Brunswick is a short walk to the Bowdoin College campus and to the many restaurants in downtown Brunswick. Parking is easy. There are rooms in the main inn and in the carriage house, where we stayed. The common rooms are comfortable and varied, and the staff are very accommodating. Interesting guests provide enough entertainment so that you'll be tempted to leave the TV off. The full breakfast is first rate with different specials every day. The one shortfall would be the bedding, at least in the room we had. The pillows were "flat as stamps" and the mattress/box spring have served their useful lives. Time for an upgrade there.

Delicate, femine room.

When I entered my small room in the carriage house, I felt like I had entered a little bit of heaven. Clean, nice colors, cozy, Sitting chair, desk, trees and birdsong outside my window. I could have stayed a few more days here but my time in Maine was up. Breakfast was good. Self-serve coffee, fruit and pastries with 3 main courses to choose from (two egg dishes and granola and yogurt). Casual and comfortable.
