How to Get There
Great place to say in the middle of the downtown action. Walking distance to almost everywhere you want to be. Friendly and helpful staff with a decent coffee shop in the lobby. Parking available for a reasonable price.
We came to Detroit overnight to see a concert at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater. We decided to stay here due to the location, which was perfect for that, and also very close to the two things we wanted to do before we left the next day--the Detroit Institute of Arts and Third Man Records. (We saw Motown Museum on last visit, which is a Detroit must!) The hotel was very nice (not a luxury hotel but very nice for its price point), but what made me like it so much was the staff who were very friendly and helpful. We also made use of the free shuttle which takes you within a certain radius of the hotel to get to the concert.
I came into town for a conference that was held at this hotel. I did not stay here as my lodging but can say that the hotel is beautiful. The staff was excellent & my reason for this review. Every single staff member I met was friendly & very good at their job. The valet staff were quick & very helpful.
