Summer vacation

Having read sone of the reviews after booking this hotel we were somewhat apprehensive when we arrived, which increased when we got out of the lift to find a hallway with no carpets.
When we opened the door to the room our worries disappeared! The apartment was huge, with big beds, a modern fridge and ample space for the 4 of us without being u see each other’s feet. We had a fantastic sea view, and the room was immaculately clean. The rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels left (even when we didn’t need them)
The larger pool had recently reopened and the smaller pool was now closed for refurbishment. There was plenty of space around the pool to relax and enjoy the sun, you do have to use a staff corridor at the minute to access the pool, but it is safe and well lit. Yes the pool bar was fairly costly, but not in relation to other bars in the Miami Beach area, and cheap compared to south beach prices. If you are looking for a cheap holiday then Miami Beach isn’t for you!
We experienced no disturbance from the renovations going on, the only time we experienced disturbance was when we got a knock on the door from the manager at 8.30am with cable engineers replacing the tv boxes in all the rooms.
All in all, we couldn’t fault anything about the hotel or staff, who were very helpful, and once the renovations are complete, it will be a stunning hotel.
We would definitely return to the hotel in the future

Our annual 2 week summer vacation. We arrived at the door and I thought wow impressive I walked through the doors and thought wow this is a very tired hotel.... It took 3 attempts for them to find a room we were okay with - still had cracks in furniture and tiles - nasty bedroom carpets and overall grim...,... Very noisy one night didn't complain didn't know who too - no information - reported to reception given night guard number next night very noisy reported to night guard eventually stopped. Have not let it ruin holiday.... However beware no restaurant - breakfast only but when asked about gluten free the reception said oh they probably won't know it a Jewish breakfast the have salads or go down the road to another hotel that's where my son goes ...... (No bacon ....). Shop in the hotel mainly Jewish food - very expensive otherwise. Pool + you have to walk through maintenance corridor to get to only small pool open larger area cut off with hazard tape - lots of rules that no one takes any notice off....Pool bar not owned by hotel - prices expensive too. Our bins in kitchen didn't get emptied for three days and no towels left once dirty ones taken away. Didn't hire car - valet parking again not owned by hotel - expensive. Apparently the condo's are lovely but we aren't in a one of those photos on website not a true one maybe 30years ago - be prepared - seriously I wanted to cry. This hotel needs to close whilst refurbishment is done.......

Spring Break Vacation

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of April for a week. I was in Miami for spring break. The hotel is oceanfront and the beach is right there so that was super fun. I stayed in an apartment and it was very spacious for everyone in my party. The view from my balcony had the ocean to one side and a city view to the other side which was very pretty. There was construction going on but they weren’t working on it at the time I was staying there. The bar above the pool has good drinks and food. The pool was spacious and pretty however they closed it way too early and would kick everyone out when the sun was setting.
