Se couldn't even stay

We booked 2 apartments for the hole family at arrival we had to wait 20 minutesfor the only recepcionist, he told us he was in the bathroom. During check in we where interrupted by people asking for clean towels and by a man complaining for the lack of curtains in his room because he saw the hanging people making arrangements in the exteriors. When we got to the apartments they where old 80' style with out refurbishment. The floors and rugs where dirtie with stains, the air conditioner old and noisie, the bed's mattresses where old and chirringfood was left in the kitchen.
We asked for other rooms but they didn't want to move us. After a couple of hours doing research to move to another hotel, it was impossible to stay at those filthy rooms, we tried to check out and they denied us the chance, which is totally illegal. Luckily we had reserved thru a travel agent and we could get our money back.

This place is horrible. There is construction taking place that has been going on for at least 2 years. The room was deplorable. Carpet stains throughout the hotel. Room wasn't cleaned before check in. I have pics of the condition.

It was ok... until the elevator broke down

This Hotel was not bad for the price we got. they were undergoing some serious renovations so during the day the pool area was pretty loud with jack hammers etc. the pool, however, was really beautiful and was steps away from the ocean with a great little poolside bar. I really enjoyed it despite the construction.. until... the elevator broke down! there are only 2 elevators for this HUGE resort and when one broke down during check in hour- chaos broke loose! Not only that- but there were no stairs! we were told that we were not allowed to take the stairs- it was a fire escape only! and it truly was- you would have to walk outside the building and through a construction site to get to the entrance to the stairs. I was extremely unhappy having to wait in a 20 minute linnet get up to my room!

BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT! I booked a 2bd/2ba suite for 5 days and 4 nights March 21-25 and was ripped off! Reservation was for 1 king bed and 2 queen beds with a pull out couch in the living room and a "breath - taking balcony". After confirming my reservation 3 times over the phone and once at the desk I walked into a unit that only had 2 queen beds and a dam twin! There were 7 ladies with me and no accommodations were offered to us. Since there were no available rooms to move to we were offered 2 roll away beds to accommodate the two women who had to sleep on a old dirty tore up couch. It took 48 hours to receive 1 bed! And 3 more days of false promises to deliver the second which we never got! On top of that there were 7 or 8 baby roaches that we took a video of running from underneath a blender we moved! Stains on bed sheets! Nats covering the ceilings in the bathrooms! Talked to the manager CHRIS, who needs a new profession because hospitality is not for everyone, who told me he had the right to refuse service to us because 7 pissed TF off Black Women came to his front desk showing everyone videos of the roaches in our room! We never received our $100 deposit and were charged an additional $68 for God knows what! A resort fee of approximately $90 was waived but we weren't paying that regardless because the property was 1000 marks away from being considered a "resort". I will be doing everything humanly possible to get a 100% refund from this Dump since they 100% ruined my vacation! Please heed my warnings! Spend your money elsewhere! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Stayed in this hotel from May 10th - 14th...Upon arrival the room looked nice. After unpacking noticed a horrible smell in the kitchen that came from an uncleaned garbage disposal, in which noticed a few roaches around it. Maintenance came and cleaned, so i brought some bug spray and as soon as i sprayed, a bed of roaches swarmed in the kitchen. Was able to switch rooms but that room had roaches as well. Im not sure if this was because of maintenance or jus being on south beach, but i would not pick this place again to stay.
