How to Get There
We reserved for 2 nights and we were sorry for it upon arrival - AVOID at all costs unless you want to stay up past 1:00 AM because of the loud scream in the courtyard, the doors being slammed without any consideration for the other hotel guests (the staff is showing the way with loud banging on the door to announce "room Service" until you have to get out and tell them to stop. No Carpet / no Kleenex / you have to ask for Toilette paper etc.....from the time you arrive at the reception overcrowded with left luggage and one person at a small desk to handle packs of people you know this was not a good choice and nobody to answer the phone when you call the reception from your room. By the way only local cable news - mostly in Spanish - no CNN no CNBC....and the WIFI a pitiful 2 Mbs that comes to nothing when people are coming back from the beach. One word for the restaurant where our rice arrived cold and must have been cooked the day before. We retreated to the the Setai (one block down) for better internet and a decent breakfast with clean surrounding and using only the bedroom at the Riviera after midnight. i guess you get what you pay for!
My friend and I had a Airbnb reserved for this trip, once we arrived at the Airbnb it wasn’t as supposed to be. So we went to The Riviera Hotel Miami and told our story to Mark and Amaury at the front desk , they gave us a good price and even an upgrade. We are very pleased by their service. And finally can enjoy our holiday.
Amaury Guzman was very very helpful with me and my family. Great customer service very nice, very patience, well spoken the best attention!!!!! When I come back again I will definitely ask to be helped by Amaury Guzman!!
This hotel was beyond worth the money spent. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Mark, Amaury, and Yolanda. The room was spacious and clean, with absolutely no issues at all.
The hotel itself is well located, and everything is easily accessible from either the Blue Trolly or an Uber. If you enjoy walking there are many places to walk to in the area, and the beach is also near by. There are chairs and towels reserved for guests at the beach, making a day at the water less hectic.
Overall a great stay, and definitely a good choice for anyone travelling to South Beach Miami!
