How to Get There
We were travelling around Skadar National Park and then we found this hotel. It has such a great stuff. What an amazing hospitality. Angela and Marco helped us to find out our route. Thanks to them. We will visit here and stay one day definitely. I recommend this place to everyone. 😍 You are not gonna regret.
Lovely spot in the heart of the art deco area. Friendly staff, quirky rooms with really comfy beds, free mojitos every night, what more could you want!
First morning I ordered pancakes which took an age to come out but the next day the chef delivered them personally within 5 minutes of ordering!
I just spent 3 nights on my own at Pelican Hotel on my way back from travelling with my bestie in Belize. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights/3 days staying in Miami Beach at Pelican Hotel. One of my favourite "activities" was to sit at their lively restaurant with either a cup of coffee or a cocktail and enjoy the people watching down Ocean Drive! The service at reception and in the restaurant is attentive and all staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. This hotel is located in one of the art deco buildings of the area and the entire interior as been uniquely designed to reflect it's roots and it's environment. The highlights of my stay were: excellent location, the people watching, the delicious breakfasts (included), the 4-6 free happy hour, the beautiful beach right across the street with cabana use, the attentive and friendly staff and the comfortable and firm bed. My only criticism is about the general cleanliness of the room--the floors were not clean, the room in general needed a more thorough dusting and the bathroom also need more attention. However, I did some spot cleaning of my own and quickly forgot about this oversight, won over by all the other positives.
Old and shabby hotel, location nice when you like noices and party all day/night arround you.
Reception staff started nice, but when i wanted to cancel after seeing the toom, she got rude.
They refused to cancel and i had to pay all 6 nights.
Luckely I booked true booking.com, and their custom service is great, the promised to refund 5 nights (as policy is that i had to pay the first night, thats ok for me) and that bookings .com will sort it out with the hotel... super of bookings.com
My advice (as a frequent traveller) DON’T GO TO THIS HOTEL!!
Would be great for those who want to party and not sleep at all. First of all, booked a two bed and got a one queen, which happened to be hard as a rock. Seriously, I've slept in a tent on the ground that was more comfortable. If you were able to finally fall asleep, the constant loud thumping bass til maybe 3-4 AM- or the excruciating pain - or non-ajustable air conditioner on full blast would wake you right back up. Not sure the noise is normal for South Beach as it was a Sunday night. On the plus side, the place seemed really clean and unique, breakfast was confusing at first but very good, and pretty much on the beach or as close as you can get for S. Beach.
