Worst customer service
This micro hotel had some of the worst customer service. When we got there it was to early to check in and I hadn’t booked my reservation yet. So we went into the front and I asked if I should book directly with them or use the 3rd party rate I saw online. The lady working was actually really sweet and said we should use the 3rd party because it was a much better rate. She said she would hold our luggage and we could use the pool until 3pm when our room would be ready and we can check in. Well fast forward to 4pm when we returned from the beach to check in and someone else with no training in customer service was working. She pulled up my reservation and since it was under my husbands name and not mine she would not let us check in! She said we had to have the 3rd party call their reservations line and have my name added. (Note; My husband and I have the same last name!)
After going back and forth for 3hrs, because no one answered their “reservations department” we finally had my name added because of the great work of hotelstonight employee and no help from Melissa (the front desk girl) or anyone from the south beach group management. During the 3hrs of waiting we were literally outside since they have no foyer area. Guest kept asking us what was going on and one guest even offered us to use his room. We wasted 3hrs of vacation time!! We New it would be resolved so we didn’t see the harm in allowing us to check in while it was being changed so we could go to our room and getting ready for dinner... which we missed our reservation to. It was already paid for and non refundable or else I would have gone somewhere else in a heartbeat. Ok so after all that and we get into our room. I go back down to ask if we could have a double bed instead of one king bed. Melissa says absolutely not because our reservation was for a king! I said we can pay for the upgrade fee. She then says she will check and gets one the phone with someone starts to speak Spanish and is saying derogatory remarks about me right in front of me. I actually speak fluent Spanish but I let her go on for about 2mins before I interrupted her in Spanish by saying I knew what she was saying! I continued in Spanish saying that it was very rude to speak about someone when I am right there in front of them just because she thought I didn’t know Spanish! That is very unprofessional and very disrespectful just as a human being. I told her to of course forget about doing anything else and we would just keep the room that we had but that I was not OK with the way she was treating us. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. There are other many cute micro boutiques hotels around the Miami area and I would suggest looking at others!! No price was worth what we had to go through!

Let’s start with the actual rooms which I’m sure is growing with mold you can smell it. We had a two bedroom and there is only one tiny bedroom. They don’t put fitted sheets on the bed just a regular sheet on the mattress. The hallways are very raggedy you can tell the owner of this building hasn’t seen what it looks like in years.
“Housekeeping” comes anywhere from 10AM-6PM which is crazy. They do not have enough towels for their guest so if you call them after 7PM they will say laundry is closed for the night 🙂

Management was TERRIBLE. Melissa literally has the worst customer service I have encountered in my life. She acts as if she owns the building and can do whatever she wants. We had a accident downstairs and requested something from her nicely just trying to explain. She quickly cut me off and told me she could not help me. Me being frustrated I asked if I can speak to a manager. I guess me asking for a manager triggered her because she then proceeded to kick us out of the hotel. The police came and escorted us it was so embarrassing. The CRAZIEST part is the officer actually told me that this hotel does this ALL the time. You can tell the way they treat their customers they don’t care about them at all.

Nonetheless, do yourself a favor spend a couple more dollars and go somewhere where they actually value their customers!

Service was great I would definitely get a room here again!! The rooms were clean and the employees were very nice. Me and my friend never had to worry about bad service because the team made sure we were comfortable.

Lysberthe at the front desk was excellent and very friendly. The rooms are very spacious and neat. The staff gave insight on surrounding areas and activities to do. This definitely would be my place of stay anytime i’m here in MIAMI!!!

Lysberthe Louis and the staff was warming and welcoming. She greeted my guest and I with great service. She gave us all the details needed for our stay. The rooms are lovely and the space is convenient if looking for a spacious yet cozy stay.
