How to Get There
Hotel was great just was blind sided by the $100/day deposit that had to be held on your card at the time of check in. Also think that visitors ought to have a choice in whether or not if they want to pay for amenities.
Overall I enjoyed myself because I make the best out of everything. Secondly, almost nothing matters much when you are steps away from the beach. However, when you take those things away.. you have a hotel with tons of potential but is missing the mark on all categories. I’m not one for writing negative reviews but I wish the service was better. It would’ve made my trip more memorable. I was disappointed in the lack of acknowledgement from staff and the extremely nonchalant attitudes...like completely checked out staff. Food in restaurant was extremely disappointing for the price. I think thats my #1 gripe. With that said unfortunately this won’t be a place I’ll return to just because I’m sure the experience I was looking to have may come at a slightly higher price but I’ll be willing to pay more to get good service at minimum.
Paid $900 for this room for two nights. The sectional was filthy and ripped at nearly every seam. I have never experienced a piece of furniture in a room of any price that was this disgusting. To top it off, my daughter had to sleep on the pull out. Carpet was dirty, but not as terrible as the sectional. Sheets on bed were ripped. Would never stay at this hotel again. Very disappointed in the Hilton brand for this hotel. Took 3 calls to the manager to report the sectional and he claimed he was not aware, which is his job to be aware. Couch was replaced, but should never have been put in this position as a customer.
We booked our trip at the last minute and got in late our first night, woke up early morning and went straight to the beach where Raymond welcomed us, helped us with recommendations for places to eat, and even gave us some tips on the city! Dylan was great as well, extra towels and great conversation about local food. We missed them on the rest of our trip! Will definitely come back to visit Raymond and Dylan though!
Kelby was some of the greatest hospitality that we received while we were here! Very attentive, kept our drinks full and made sure that we had all we needed while on the beach! She kept us out in the sun and that’s exactly where we wanted to be on our trip! Was awesome to never have to leave the beach for a drink or a small bite to eat!
We had such a great mini vacation at the Hilton and that was thanks to Raymond! He was so friendly and helpful, and accommodated all of our needs. I’d highly recommend staying at this beachfront Hilton Cabana!
