How to Get There
Spent my entire vacation running out in the middle of my night to repark my van. Associated Parking System refused to park it even though I called ahead to check in with them that they could. They told me to just get a ticket because it will only be $18. That’s a very unprofessional way to treat your hotel guests. I’m still here until tomorrow if you guys want to help me with this
Stayed here this past week and normally Im an understanding, easy going person but this was the worst place ever. Ive taken pictures of all issues needing renovation. And despite the place needing work, my overall review is based on the unprofessional service received at this location. I can deal with being woken up EVERYDAY at 7am to construction by our window, I also didnt mind the tub splashing water all over the floor while showering and having to do my own room service cleaning, I can even handle being told I couldnt receive anymore toilet paper; BUT what really bothers me, is RUDE employees.
We checked in Tuesday evening 2/12 and after a brief check in we were told we would be staying in another building. The bellman a young Hispanic man was very friendly and informative so we didnt mind the walk. However on Thursday afternoon at 4pm I placed an order for food and called the front desk for directions back to the main building and was totally taken back by the girls response. She was insulting and had a terrible attitude like I was asking her to climb a mountain when all I needed was directions back to the main building.
Over all the price is not worth the unnecessary stress this place WILL BRING. Save your money and stay local. There are plenty of other options to choose from in the area.
I Think I am a little more optimistic than some of the other reviewers. First what I liked. The location is right across from the beach. There was a porch ( we were on the 5th floor) that looked out over Ocean Drive. Has a kitchen. The pool looked fun but the weather and our plans kept us from using it.
What I didn't like. Limited cooking utensils. We were there for a week and never saw house cleaning.
Booked this for location, we meet as a family once a year, I live in the UK, brother USA, me and my brother booked it simultaneously, but his room was ready 1 hour before mine. I was sitting at reception waiting and no one came to tell me my room was ready, 4:15 I decided to ask and hey! It was all ready but no in Miami we just sit in lobbies right????
The Suites is A FEW BUILDINGS, so the brother I see only once a year is in a different building, the guy at reception said thats a plus (????????)
One of the buildings is on top of a gay club, this is not a priblem to me, but if you have light sleep it definitely will be for you
I loved the location of the room (overlooking the street with a balcony), but there were some issues with the amenities. The couch had numerous stains on it; was very gross. There was a brochure that said room service was provided by The Palace, but no one would answer when we called, and when we went down to place an order in person, they said they do not deliver to rooms. The bathroom toilet ran constantly and the door would not shut completely. And I was very disappointed about the rooftop pool. The bar was under construction, so we could not lay out comfortably (workers using saws and no service). The Palace bar next door can be loud, but we were in Miami to party so we didn't mind the noise. Overall, I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
