How to Get There
I am finishing a 10 day stay at the Carillon Wellness Resort & Spa in Miami Beach. The fitness classes and spa are worthy of their status as a member property of Leading Hotels of the World. Particular standout was Kalvin, the manager of the Relaxation Lounge on the third floor.
My father and I arrived Sunday evening, weary from traveling from the snowy northeast, and were looking around. Kalvin saw us and immediately offered to take us on a tour of the facility, as he said his facility was closing shortly. I appreciated the time and attention to detail he took, even remembering my name the next day.
Rene, a front desk manager, successfully helped us move to a more comfortable room despite the hotel being sold out.
and the rudest person we ever meet, how these evil person shes the spa director? , my daughter and wife never encounter somebody so unprofessional on there lives like Tammy, she raised her voice to my daughter for simple question about the igloo shower not working, she told my wife, BAD LUCK MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU GUYS CAN ENJOY, FOR NOW USED THE OTHER ONES YOU GUYS NOT GONE DIED FOR A BROKEN SHOWER ,,tammys words to my family never again we will set foot on that horrible hotel full of aggressive management and very unprofessional service

Great location on beach
This was an amazing property a few years ago when Canyon Ranch managed it but not any longer. One problem, as it seems to me, is that the majority of visitors now on any given day appear to be locals on day passes rather than hotel guests (or vacationers staying at nearby cheaper hotels).
The day passes can be purchased inexpensively on Groupon and consequently, the property is far more crowded and less exclusive. For instance, I saw a group of college guys drinking their own Bud Light from cans while lounging on Carillon beach chairs. Remember, this used to be a place noted for tranquility and health consciousness.
There is also noticeably less staff overall. Combined with higher traffic the spa has become somewhat grimy, and you will wait a long for your car or for food. The food is horrible anyway, so not much of a loss. We are talking powdered ice tea and reheated frozen pizza in their main restaurant.
That being said, if you came to the property expecting a 3-star or 3.5 star experience, you will not be disappointed. Also, while limited in numbers, overall, the staff is great.
