Quiet in the Heart of Miami Beach

This is a vintage building, so, you will have peace and quiet in your room. You are steps away from all the action you may want, whether it's restaurants, parks, or shopping.
Breakfast at the hotel is lovely and you are a few short blocks from the ocean.

Return Visit to South Beach

This was our second stay at Cadet Hotel. On our first visit, we had a corner room on the second floor. For this visit, we had a first floor room. In comparison, the room was smaller, however, since it was not directly on the street it was also quieter. The hotel is convenient to all the highlights and is slightly removed from the noisier areas. We enjoyed an afternoon in the shaded hot tub area which is cooler than the beach. It is slightly disappointing that the hot tub closes at 6 pm due to the restaurant. We have two suggestions for the hotel: provide coffee in the morning (either in the lobby or in the rooms) and add a soda machine to the premises.

Petite and Sweet

Just returned from 5 nights staying at The Cadet. A small boutique hotel located in a perfect position to walk to Lincoln, Collins Avenue, The Fillmore and lots of restaurants, bars and shops are nearby. Loved the history of why the hotel is called The Cadet, it gave it a great historical feel. The rooms are small, but perfectly clean. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. I would say the only thing missing from the room was a kettle...saying that the gentlemen on reception were more than happy to bring us a tray of tea to the room. The courtyard garden with plunge pool/jacuzzi was the absolute perfect place to chill and relax. So much so that we never made it to their beach facilities which are also close by. Last, but not least a huge thank you to all the staff. They were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. Storing our cases after check out and allowing us to use the facilities until we left for our flight was really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a small, friendly place close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Bed

We found this for a one night stop before a cruise. A little noisy and had difficulty with the A/C but pleasant place to stay in a nice location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

Great place

It was a short easy stay. Centric place, 20 mins. from Ocean Drive. Great customer service. Beds were too soft and no support. There is no parking available but we were able to park our motorcycle around the corner overnight.
